Sunstream opened her mouth to drink in the scents of prey. Movement twitched at the edge of her vision and there seemed to be plenty of prey around. After a fewmoments, she spotted two fronds of bracken part to reveal a lean rabbit. Instinctively, she dropped into a hunting crouch, slowly creeping towards it. However, her tail lashed in the grass, moving and rustling it. The rabbit's ears quickly twitched and it bolted away before Sunstream could take in what was happening. She inhaled sharply and dashed after it, her feathered tail streaking behind her. As she caught up with the prey, she suddenly tripped. With a loud yowl she landed onto the rabbit and flailed her paws, eventually killing it. Sunstream scrambled to her paws and blinked slowly. She shrugged and picked up the fresh-kill with a contempt flick of her tail, rushing back to camp.

Fennelseed stepped closer. "It's okay, you're not with those rogues and you don't seem to be hurting us, but how did you get that rabbit?" He tried to look as intimidating as possible despite his large, muscled body. |

OOC: Rp: Fennelseed looked her over, trying to size the young cat up. "Would you ever consider joining a group ?" he asked. He wasn't sure if telling Diamondstar first was necessary, but he knew that more warriors could help the Clan.

Diamondstar looked out of her den and spotted Fennelseed with an unknown orange she-cat. "Who is this, Fennelseed, and why is she in our camp?"
Fennelseed cleared his throat. "This is umm..." He looked over at the she-cat and gulped. "What was your name again?" |

Gingerpaw purred in amusement but perked her ears as a stager came into camp with Fennelseed. ShE turned back to Amberpaw. "Want the rest of my mouse?" She asked him, she wasn't really hungry anymore now that there was a newcomer.

(Hi I'm back!)
Leopardleap returned to camp with a thrush in his jaws. He had had a lucky day out hunting, which allowed him to capture something soon after he left the camp. With a light mood, he came to Lightningshadow's side. "I hope you like eating thrush," he mewed hopefully to the she-cat as he lay down the prey beside her.

(I tried my best to study hard but I found it so hard to concentrate on studying....)
Leopardleap twisted his tail nervously. "Well, then I'll head out again and catch what you like," he replied. "A patient needs to eat well and get plenty of rest to recover quickly. And I'll make sure you get both." He let his tail brush Lightningshadow's pelt gently. He was looking forward to hunting and patrolling alongside her, and that could only happen after Lightningshadow recovers.

For most of the day, Thornwhisker had been cleaning up the den, which had been cluttered and messy, as he hadn't cleaned it for several moons, and without an apprentice, the medicine cat saw no need for it. However, he had to admit, he liked seeing the place clean every once in awhile. Since he'd awoken quite early in the morning, a bit before sunrise, he'd made much progress, and had been working diligently. However, some leaves and herbs, and especially the numerous berries that he utilized, were still strewn along the floor of the medicine den. However, even Thornwhisker had to take a break eventually, and sensing all the commotion out in camp, the medicine cat gave a shrug and decided to make his way out of the den. The sunlight, which had been filtered into the den, now hit his somewhat drowsy, pale green eyes at full force. He squinted to be able to see, blinking several times in an attempt to adjust. When he could finally see decently, Thornwhisker's green gaze began to flicker around camp, curious as to what was going on with the Clan.

Diamondstar searched the rogue's eyes for doubt and found none. "If you're really truly sure then I will introduce you to your clanmates as a member of our Clan" Diamondstar leaped up onto the Peircing Stone where she held meeting and called out, "All cats old enough to run the moors gather here for a Clan meeting" |

From this day on, until you receive your warrior name, you will be known as Cardinalpaw. Your mentor will be Fennelseed." She turned to the heavyset yellow warrior and continued the ceremony. "Fennelseed, you are ready to take on another apprentice. You have shown yourself to be kindhearted and loyal, and I expect you to pass on all you know to Cardinalpaw."
Fennelseed smiled warmly at Cardinalpaw and bent down to touch noses. |
