Dovespirit shuddered nervously. What have I gotten myself into...? she asked herself, casting a nervous glance at Forestleap, who egged her on with a stern nod.
"I'm ready." she said, smirking. "That dog won't know what hit it."

Dovespirit trotted away, remembering where they had been and where to run to. She was baiting herself. She meowed, trying to lure the dog out to chase her and the other cat.

The yapping gets closer as the dog races out of the shadows. It's a small, white, fluffy dog, with a blue collar.

Clearmeadow hissed at the dog to get it to want to chase them more. "Should we run now?" She asked Dovespirit. She tensed her muscles, ready to run towards the other cats and lure the dog.

"We need to taunt it. To make it want to chase us."She murmured, trotting forward and flicking her tail at the dog, trying to provoke it and make it chase her and Clearmeadow.

Dovespirit raced back towards the others, hoping Clearmeadow was beside her. She spotted Forestleap's familiar pelt moving in the brush, and she made herself run faster and faster, hoping that she would bowl into Forestleap.

Clearmeadow rocketed after Dovespirit, following her tail tip through the bushes. She didn't dare look behind her, it would slow her down.

"NOW!" Stormypaw yowls, hurtling at the dog, followed by Shimmerstar. Shimmerstar hisses and swipes at the dog. Stormypaw ends up on the dog's back and starts clawing.

Forestleap jumped out of Dovespirit's way. He hissed at the dog and swiped his paws at it. Dovespirit crashed into a bush. Forestleap puffed his fur up and arched his back as Dovespirit regained her footing and took her place in mobbing the dog away.

"Thanks*gasp*for*Gasp*being*gasp*there*Breath*for*Huff*us." Dovespirit huffed, still out of breath from running that much that fast that quickly. Forestleap struggled to keep his laughter in as he watched the huffing and puffing Dovespirit. She may be fast, but she has zero stamina.

Dovespirit nodded. "Just out *gasp* of breath." she murmured, leaning slightly on a rock. "I'll be fine."
Forestleap smiled. "She's being overdramatic." he explained. Dovespirit lifted a paw to bat him on the head, but didn't and put her paw down. He flinched away and twitched his tail at her.

Clearmeadow sat down and looked at Flutterpaw. "You looked worried." Flutterpaw nodded. "Don't worry my epic adopted sis, I'm fine and good as ever." FLutterpaw smiled as Clearmeadow said 'adopted sis'. "Thats good," She said.
(Shimmerfire yeep I do like Undertale and "Star Sanses" is one of my fave songs
I'm also an kind of AU nerd XD)

Forestleap turned. He padded back to the camp, Dovespirit trailing a little ways behind him. They spoke in low voices, and Dovespirit looked troubled. She turned back to Shimmerstar and the others with an angry look. "I am going hunting." she hissed, padding off.
Forestleap had his ears pinned and he loped back to camp. They had bickered over what they should do next, and Forestleap had said something in a wrong way and Dovespirit got mad.

Shimmerstar leaps up onto the rock. "May all cats old enough to climb gather beneath the boulder for a Clan meeting!" she yowls. Stormypaw pads to the boulder, confused.

Forestleap sat down beneath the rock. He kept his tail over where Dovespirit would be. She wasn't likely to return for some time. He didn't speak, only look at the rock where Shimmerstar was standing.
