He watched as another cat padded up to who he assumed was Talonpaw, and he sniffed the air for confirmation of the identites of both cats. His nose informed him that he had been correct on his first guess of Talonpaw for the first cat as well as revealing the other cat to be Owlflight. Hollowpaw flicked an ear at this information, before turning his blurry gaze to the ground. The earth under his paws was dark and moist, an obvious result of the weather. He ran a paw over the holes his claws had left, wiping them away.

Talonpaw stepped in a particularly wet part of the dirt and his paw sunk in a little. He jumped and shook his paw, gritting his teeth at the feeling of mud on his paw. The tom hissed as he trotted along, stopping near the medicine den. "Hey," He said quietly. He was nervous around the other apprentices, and that included the medicine cat apprentice in front of him. "Owlflight sent me to check on you, Cloverprint, and Moonstar."

It took a moment for Hollowpaw to realize that the other tom was talking to him; he had been aware of Talonpaw approaching, but still. He regarded Talonpaw with cool amber eyes, narrowed slightly as a moment of pause stretched out between them. "Huh. There's no need to worry about me, and the other two are in there." Hollowpaw finally muttered after a long minute, pointing towards the den behind him with his muzzle as he continued to squish the mud under his paw.

Talonpaw fought back a retort that threatened to escape. He gave a short nod and looked toward the den. "Alright. Just remember to get something to eat. It's easy to forget," He mewed before turning and briskly walking off to the other side of camp. He shot a fleeting glare at Owlflight's back before heading into the apprentice's den. He heard Ravenpaw call out, but he wasn't interested in talking.
{ I have to go. It's pretty late. I'll be on tomorrow. Good night! }

Hollowpaw watched him as he walked off, his vision quickly failing him as he squinted to make out the other apprentice before rolling his eyes. He glanced back towards the den, pondering what in the world the two could be talking about. The weather, perhaps? Or maybe Moonstar had a cough. Hollowpaw flicked his tailtip in silent wonder.
goodnight !!!)

Ashjaw paced the camp restlessly, surveying the warriors and apprentices that passed. He'd thought of going hunting, but figured the rain might send most of the mice hiding, and it would likely be more profitable to save his strength and go once the rain let up, when the prey would be peeking out of their dens. The light drizzle didn't bother him much, his pelt long having grown used to it - though the dampness sometimes irritated the scar over his jaw - so he stayed out of his den anyway. Perhaps he could go visit his sister Dawnstep and see how she was faring.
As he walked, he considered the expecting she-cat. Every day she seemed closer to kitting, though he was sure it couldn't be quite so soon as it seemed. Newleaf was good timing for kits though; they should have no trouble providing prey, and the kits would be able to explore the camp in the warm weather when they were ready. He padded inside the nursery slowly, purposefully shaking the moss at the entrance before poking his head through so as not to startle a dozing cat.
Dawnstep barely flicked her gaze to him. "These kits are a curse," she grumbled, but Ashjaw merely twitched his whiskers in amusement. She'd been complaining for days, possibly since she was confined to the nursery, and he knew not to take her complaints or scathing comments too seriously by now. She made many an apprentice hate nursery duty with her cross tone, but shirk their work and they'd have Ashjaw to report to.

Grayspeckle padded out of the Warriors Den, sitting just outside the grassy entrance. She was fighting a yawn that threatened to escape her jaws. But she finally let it go. She spotted an apprentice laying on the ground -Hollowpaw, she'd recognized- and debated going up to him and asking him to catch prey. But she was startled out of her thoughts by droplets of rain pelting down on her whiskers, Great! She hissed silently. More rain means no prey. I knew I should have hunted more!
She watched as apprentices, warriors and her leader -Moonstar- did things they needed to do around the camp. She was itching to do something, but it was raining! She huffed and flicked her tail grumpily. I hope this day turns out to be a good one!

"Probably," Raypaw agreed longingly. She arched her back in a stretch and shook out the dampness from her pelt, accidentally sending droplets onto Ravenpaw's already damp pelt. "Sorry!" She squeaked, not taking much note to how alive the clearing was becoming.
Cloverprint returned Moonstars greeting. "Hello, Moonstar. Are you feeling well or did you come here to complain about the weather?" She asked, the last part carrying a bit of amusement to her tone, as she'd noted the leader's earlier comment to Cloverprint's rather sullen apprentice. She was curious as to why the leader was in here, whether it was for idle chatter, starclan matters or illness, she did not know.
Hawkspirit sighed, it was about time he actually did something. He stepped out of the Warriors nest, recoiling at the drizzling rain before looking around. He quickly spotted his apprentice and bounded over. "Ravenpaw, it's time to train. This is perfect weather to see how far you are in tracking." He told her before calling Speckleeye over. "Why don't our apprentices train together for tracking practice. It's always better with multiple cats and the rain will pose a challenge for them." He suggested to the she-cat. Even if Speckleeye declined, he would still take Ravenpaw out by themselves.

Grayspeckle watched as Hawkspirit chatted with his apprentice. Grayspeckle sighed and pondered over the thought when she would get an apprentice. She thought she had all of the abilities to a great one, but why did it seem like Moonstar was purposely not letting her have an apprentice. She sat up, stretched out her tired muscles, and walked over to the prey-pile. It was time she got some energy, even though the rain still kept her in a dull mood, she still needed to hunt for her Clan.

Grayspeckle groaned inwardly. Apprentices were not her favorite type of cat. This wasn't improving her dull mood at all. But Raypaw was... Raypaw, so she knew she had to be polite.
"Hi, Raypaw..." She greeted the energetic apprentice hesitantly, trying not to let her grumpiness show. "What do you need?"

Raindrops dripped onto Hollowpaw's nose from the branch that hung over his head, and he sneezed in reaction. It was admittedly starting to get chilly, but the tom still enjoyed the weather nonetheless. Rain helped herbs grow, and also brought out prey once the showers ceased.. So it wasn't all bad, in his opinion anyways.
Crowsky padded out of the warrior's den, head lifted towards the sky as she took in the dreary weather and the prey stockpile. They needed to bring fresh prey, but the weather would hinder their efforts since the birds would be taking shelter in the trees. She let her long grey tail swoop down near the dark, moist ground as she silently wondered how long the showers would last.

{ Why thank you and it wasn't so bad. It could have been worse. I could've crashed. And the mentor-apprentice part is all updated. All apprentices have mentors now. }
Ravenpaw looked over and tried not to let out a huff or a drawn out sigh. Of course we are going to just track. In the rain. In the forest. Again. She cast a short glance at her fellow apprentice before looking toward Speckleeye, waiting to hear what the other warrior would have to say. The little apprentice flicked her tail tip in anticipation.
"Well, to be rather honest, I was hoping to take Raypaw out and have her practice in the meadow. I checked earl and there are some field mice around," The gray and white she-cat admitted. Her green eyes rested on the two apprentices before she turned them back to her clanmate. "I'm sure Ravenpaw will want to use some of that energy she's been storing," The warrior added with a look at the young cat.
Moonstar glanced around the cave, closing her eyes briefly. When she opened them once more, worry and doubt flickered within them. "I never complain about the weather. It's nice today, though I think the winds carry a storm," The leader shook her head and tried to focus again. "I wanted to ask if you've had any signs. From Starclan. Or dreams, visions... anything. They've been silent for me," She murmured.
Merlin poked his head out of the elder's den, dragging himself out of his warm nest and making his way outside. His shoulder ached from sleeping on it weird, but other than that he was alright. Now what has been going on. The cat wondered. He shook his pelt and padded toward the middle of camp, ears perked to listen to anything the clan cats said. He was painfully aware of the tear in his end the jagged scars across his pelt, and today he wasn't in a mood to share his story to the young cats.

"I suppose you're right. Hunting would do the clan good as well, so we should hunt while we can." Hawkspirit sighed, though he had to agree with Speckleeye. He turned to Ravenpaw to see how she would react. Maybe he had taken her track-practicing a little to much. He just thought it was one of the most important traits a cat should have, after all, it was vital if somecat went missing or a predator lurked into the territory.
"Of corse, I was wrong to think you'd ever speak poorly of damp weather." The medicine cat spoke, new dripping with amused sarcasm before continuing to listen to the leader. Cloverprint was surprised to hear this from Moonstar, but she shook her head. "I haven't heard anything. Starclan has been silent, but they will speak when they must. Is something troubling you?"

Noticing the elder leave the elder's den, Crowsky lifted her tail in a passing greeting as the large she-cat made a mental tally of the prey stock-pile. She glanced up at the grey sky, before glancing about camp. Perhaps the storm wouldn't be so bad that she couldn't take a warrior or two and their apprentices on a hunting patrol, though she was unsure of who was busy or not.
Hollowpaw lazily laid back down where it was most dry, wrapping his tail around himself as he made the most of his natural body heat, amber eyes half open. The day was long and dull, and he wasn't sure what to do.

Moonstar gave another shake of her head, forcing her fur to lie smooth. "No, I was only curious," She said breezily, hoping it as casual enough to avoid questions. The she-cat looked toward the herbs and twitched her whiskers. "I guess we're running a little low," She observed. "Well I won't keep you from your duties. I'll go," She dipped her head and turned to leave the cave.
Speckleeye saw Crowsky and flicked he tail in greeting. "If you want to, you know where Raypaw and I will be. Come along, let's go hunting," She beckoned to the apprentice with her tail tip and nodded in the direction of the camp entrance. Ravenpaw watched them before turning back to her own mentor, eyes silently pleading for him to let them hunt as well.
Owlflight, unable to rest after guarding camp during the night and hunting earlier, came back out of the warrior's den and made his way over to the prey pile, glancing at it and sighing at how it was getting smaller. He turned and let his icy blue eyes scan the camp for any cat that might be free to hunt. He spotted the two mentors and their apprentices, as well as Merlin and Crowsky. Any of the cats would help refill the pile, but he was too awkward to go ask. The elder was finding shelter and stretching. Owlflight could hear a pop from where he stood, gritting his teeth. I hope I don't end up with such stiff legs like that.

Crowsky dipped her head in response to Speckleeye, before turning to look over at Owlflight, who had approached the prey pile as well. He seemed restless, and she decided to grant him some mercy. "Would you like to join me in hunting with Speckleeye and Raypaw?" She asked as softly as possible, her deep voice rumbling in her chest as she twitched an ear.

Ashjaw emerged from the nursery a bit grumpier at having his ear chewed off for a whole conversation but ultimately at least happy Dawnstep seemed no worse than usual. He was surprised yet pleased to see mentors and apprentices seeming to be getting ready to go on a hunting patrol. They certainly weren't letting the rain stop them. Perhaps he'd see if he could find Talonpaw and entice him into leaving camp... though if the apprentice was as restless as he was, it wouldn't take much. Ashjaw could already feel inactivity prickling at his pawpads. He glanced around the clearing, but didn't see his apprentice at first glance. Perhaps in the apprentices' den, then. If the other apprentices were hunting, he might be more willing to try out some rainy-day battle moves. As he neared the den entrance, he called out, "Talonpaw? Are you in there?"

"Nothing really. Isn't this weather really nice, and oh -How are you?" Raypaw asked with a smile, oblivious to the warrior's grumpy mood that she was trying to hide. She swished her tail slightly as she waited for an answer, not realizing that she might be bothering the feminine. A drop of rain hit her whiskers, making them twitch and reminding her that it was drizzling, as she'd half forgotten. "I'm great... The weather? Not so much." Grayspeckle commented, she sighed. "I'm going to ask if I can go hunt...Maybe you can do something produ-...like training..Or hunting..." With that, she turned tail and padded away, going to the Medicine Den to where she saw her leader go in. (I am so sorry! I hope you get back soon!)
