The apprentice blinked, not really shocked about what had actually happened. Brokenpaw Nodded, tilting her head to one side with a soft grin. "Yes, of course I'm fine," she meowed. She stood up, heading over to her before gently pushing her. "But watch where you're going next time. Where are you going in such a hurry anyway?"

Clawpelt let out a laugh in the form of air blowing out his nose. She must be able to read minds. He followed, quickly making his way across the plank after her to avoid having to be over open water for longer than he had to.

Mosswing turned around after he had crossed and scented the air again, "Ok, so I'm smalling a few frogs around here," she reported, looking over at him, lowering her voice some. "Should we split up for a bit, then meet back up here?"

"I was hoping that I could go hunting," said Mistpaw with a grin. "Want to come ask your mentor to see if she'll let you come? I still need to ask mine." He words came out in a rush and she seemed to glow with excitement. How someone could get so much joy over hunting anyway? Mistpaw seemed to pull it off. (Sorry for late reply.)

(It's fine)
She giggled softly, nodding before looking around the clearing. "Wait- I think we're going to have to wait until your mentor gets back. I think she just left with the deputy to go hunting, I think," Brokenpaw meowed, looking over at Mistpaw. "Maybe I could see if my mentor wants to take you, too?"

"Works for me," said Mistpaw with a smile. She trotted out into the middle of the camp, looking around for Hickoryfoot. "Where is she, do you think?" she asked Brokenpaw.
Hickoryfoot was in the corner of the camp. She wasn't really doing much, just grooming a slightly messy patch of fur on her back.

"Uh..." Brokenpaw followed Mistpaw to the center of camp, eventually seeing her near a corner of camp. "Aha, here she is, follow me!" She grinned before padding up to Hickoryfoot. "Hi! I wanted to ask you if, when we go training, can Mistpaw come?"

Hickoryfoot looked up and shrugged. "Sure, I don't see why not." She scooted around until she was in a position to stand. "Want to head out now?" she asked the two. Mistpaw nodded, then paused to look at Brokenpaw, just to check that she wanted this as well.

Brokenpaw also nodded, jumping up and down a bit with excitement. "Yes, please!" She gave them a smile, backing away a little bit before slowly making her way toward the enterance, but she paused and waited for the others to catch up.

Hickoryfoot and Mistpaw trailed after the other apprentice. Mistpaw looked like she could hardly contain her excitement and Hickoryfoot was smiling a little with amusement at the two apprentices' excitement. "Would hunting in the Mossy Fields work for you two?" asked Hickoryfoot. "It would mean a walk, but we could hunt along the way." Mistpaw shrugged. "I'm fine with it if Brokenpaw is."

Brokenpaw slowed down a little, turning around with a nod. "Yes, of course that's fine," she added with a smile, now falling into step beside Mistpaw. "We can have a competition to see who's better at hunting." She gently pawed the apprentice's ear with a giggle.

Mistpaw grinned, tail twitching with mischievousness. "You're on!" she giggled. Hickoryfoot led the way, padding through the grass. Her ears moved back and forth, seeing if she could hear the sound of prey. "A little bit lower voices you two," she said. "Or no prey will be caught at all."

"Oh right, sorry," whispered Brokenpaw now, looking around some now. "Well I don't even smell anything yet, so I guess we got lucky...or we already scared everything away." The apprentice shook her head some, looking over at Mistpaw. "How about who catches the most wins?"

"Works for me," Mistpaw whispered back. Up ahead, Hickoryfoot had caught the sent of a mouse. She waved her tail for the two apprentices to wait. Her ears swiveled as she tried to pinpoint where it was by sound. "Brokenpaw," she said quietly. "I think it's in that bush over there. Want to show me how to catch it?" Brokenpaw was her first apprentice and Hickoryfoot was trying to learn to be a mentor. So often times she would ask Brokenpaw to do something to 'show' her.

Brokenpaw automatically quieted down and nodded, her eyes now locked on the bush. "S-sure," she whispered, dropping down into the hunters crouch. It wasn't perfect, her weight wasn't evenly distributed on all of her paws as she slowly stalked forward. Somehow, despite the stance, she was quiet part of the way toward the bush, until she decided to pounce early. The apprentice somewhat slipped as she sprung at the animal, her paws trying to frantically claw at the mouse, but it quickly got away. "Aw...that's not fair," she meowed, watching the animal retreat.

(Sorry I'm always so late in replying to the posts here, Broken.)
"Saying it isn't fair doesn't catch the mouse," pointed out Hickoryfoot, though not unkindly. "Do you at least know what you did wrong?" Mistpaw sat patiently, waiting. She had thought Brokenpaw's stance had been okay, but then again, she had been apprenticed after the she-cat. She was also behind in her training. "What was wrong with it?" she asked Hickoryfoot, confused. Hickoryfoot flicked her tail, silently asking the other apprentice to wait.

(I saw this the other day and I thought I replied xD I guess not, sorry!)
"Um...it probably wasn't perfect," Brokenpaw replied, tilting her head to one side as she continued to think about what she had done. "I probably rushed it a little bit, but I thought my stance was good." She paused for a moment, looking between the two. "Could you show me it again?"

brokenHickoryfoot nodded and dropped into the hunter's crouch. "You have to keep your body low and your stance even. Put to much weight on your front paws and the mouse will feel your pawsteps. You move like this." She started placing her paws down lightly, moving softly across the ground. Mistpaw watched with interest and started to copy her, seeing if she could move with as much silence.

Brokenpaw eyed her, nodding a bit as she explained his to make it better. Just like her friend, she also dropped down, trying to even the weight on all of her paws. She also made sure he tail was parallel to the ground. Slowly, she crawled forward. It wasn't perfect, but it was better than what she had done before. After a moment, she said up. "How was that?"

broken"Better," purred Hickoryfoot, her eyes shining. Mistpaw sat back down again, looking over at Brokenpaw with interest. "Your better at this than I am," she said, smiling. Hickoryfoot flicked the other apprentice's nose lightly with her tail. "You'll get better the longer you train. Your mentor is proud of you, I'm sure. Now," she said, looking between the two apprentices. "Are we hunting or chatting? Let's start walking again."

mintedstar/fur"Oh, r-right," the apprentice meowed with a soft giggle, straightening up again before following after her mentor. She glanced over at Mistpaw with a smile. "And you'll get better! You just started training shortly after I did!"

broken"Yeah, I hope so," said Mistpaw with a grin. Hickoryfoot didn't look around, but she was also smiling. She was remembering when she had been the two apprentice's ages. That had been wild time with her and her brother. (Timeskip to Mossy Fields?)

(That'll be fine :3 also rip this thread, it basically turned into a 1x1 xD)
The apprentice tried to contain her excitement as she slowly walked through the mossy ground. She paused for a moment, looking over to the others with a grin, but froze when she heard the noise of rustling of some leaves.
Mosswing was also at Mossy Fields, staring st the other group through the brush. She had been hunting and was just about to head back to camp. The warrior stepped out in the open with a bird dangling from her jaws. "Mornin'! Hickoryfoot, it looks like you have your paws full."

( *coughs* Owlmoon, want to join an awesome clan? Yes, I'm shamelessly advertising.) "Wouldn't mind helping?" said Hickoryfoot with an amused huff. Mistpaw popped her head around a bush."Yeah! Come teach me how to hunt!" She might have been a little to loud, and she was certainly moving around a lot. "And tell your apprentice to stop bouncing around like a rabbit," added the warrior with a chuckle. Mistpaw stopped and her tail dipped a little. "Oops," she whispered.

(*shakes head* mint, you don't need to do that xD)
Mosswing chuckled softly, dropping and burying the prey. "Of course. I was just about to head back to get you," she said, looking up at her apprentice. "Well before we start hunting, show me your crouch." The warrior dropped into her own, just to show Mistpaw.
Brokenpaw smiled, looking from them to her mentor. "Me, too?"

(Yeah, I probably don't... ^^' But I know they like clans like this...)
Hickoryfoot nodded to Brokenpaw. "Yes, you too." She sat down, waiting to see how her apprentice would do.
Mistpaw did her best to remember the crouch Hickoryfoot had showed them back near camp. Her paws were a little to close together and she found it hard to keep her balance. But other than that, she was pretty close. Her fur puffed up a little, looking to Mosswing to see what she would say.

(it's fine, i don't care either way.)
Brokenpaw nodded, dropping down into the same crouch as before, looking back and forth between everyone, mostly wanting to see how her friend was doing.
Mosswing straightened up, walking closer to her apprentice. "Not bad," she commented, walking around her once before sitting down. "However, make sure your paws are shoulder length apart. That should feel more natural and make you feel more balanced."
