Specter, having reached camp, immediately approached the cat with the pile of herbs. Well, some flowers aren't just pretty for show. "Hey, uh, are you the medicine cat here? I might need some treatment." She displayed the gash in her shoulder, surrounded by blood-matted fur. The wound wasn't bleeding terribly, but death by blood loss was still very much within the realm of possibility.

The medicine cat dipped his head, beginning to clean her wounds. "Yes, my name is Rainflight. I am the medicine cat of TimeClan. You're the new warrior, correct?" He meowed between licks. Once he had finished with cleaning, he began chewing up some marigold, then licking the poultice onto her wounds.

Elmheart took up a position behind Specter, patiently waiting his turn. His paw was starting to throb and he bit his lip.
Hickoryfoot wandered over to a patch of shade, where she relaxed as she started cleaning a few small scratches. She'd have Rainflight look at them when he was done looking over everyone else.

Honeysplash made it back to the camp. He sat near the entrance, keeping his distance as he watched the injured warriors getting their wounds fixed up. If he had gotten to the fight any sooner, he would've been waiting to get patched up as well.

Owlmoon spotted Honeysplash by the entrance to camp. She took a longing look at the entrance before dragging herself over to him. Desperate for someone to talk to, she said, "Hi! How are you?"

Honeysplash's ears perked up at the sound of a voice. He turned his head to look at the she-cat that had greeted him, and a small smile appeared. "Hello there. I'm doing okay, like always." He replied calmly. "How are you doing?"

"Oh, I just saw you looking at it. I figured you were talking about your leg when you mentioned creating more work for Rainflight." Honeysplash didn't seem bothered at all when she frowned. He curled his tail around his paws, giving Owlmoon a warm gaze. "I hope I didn't confuse you."

Bogpaw felt a little thrill of relief as the fox retreated. He puffed out his chest as they returned to camp. Hearing Rainflight's call, he was reminded of the painful ache that being stepped on had left. Breathing too deeply made the pain sharpen. He wanted to go tell Rainflight right away, but the blood covered state of a few of the warriors kept him in place. They needed it more.
Bogpaw's short pelt fluffed in alarm as he thought on the battle. Leaning over to his sister he asked with concern, "Is your tail okay?"
Dayscar followed Hollowstar back to camp, keeping an eye on the more wounded clanmates in case they needed help. Once they were back, Dayscar paused by the hole in the camp wall. She flicked her tail angrily as she surveyed the damage, thinking they should add more brambles to it when it was repaired. With a dismissive snort at the offending hole, Dayscar turned away to call together a patrol.
"Honeysplash!" Dayscar interrupted Owlmoon and Honeysplash's conversation, "I'm taking a patrol out to the borders to make sure the foxes are off the territory. You're on it. Meet us at the entrance."
Dayscar turned to gather a few other clanmates, "Swiftfoot! Mistpaw! Border patrol!"
That done, she walked toward the entrance. She paused by Mosswing, "Hey, Mosswing, I know you just finished running all over the territory and back, so don't worry, you rest. I just wanted you to know I'm taking Mistpaw out on a patrol."

Honeysplash sighed, not really pleased about having to cut the conversation short. He wasn't all too thrilled about going on a patrol, either. He usually tended to avoid them. It looked like he wouldn't be able to get away from his responsibilities as a warrior this time. "Looks like I must go. I'll talk to you later." He got up and approached the area he was told to meet at, his tail flicking with annoyance.

Mistpaw's head snapped up and around. "Coming!" she called, rushing over to stand by the deputy. She cast a quick look between Mosswing and Dayscar, hoping that Mosswing wouldn't mind if she did a border patrol without her.
(I actually totally forgot Mistpaw existed. xP )

Mosswing dipped her head to he deputy. "Thank you, and yes, that would be fine," she meowed, looking over at her apprentice. "Mistpaw, don't cause too much trouble for this group!"

After Rainflight had finished with Specter, he moved on to some of the other warriors and apprentices that needed the help, moving fast. (We can just say he's treated everyone?)

Brokenpaw looked over at her brother, then back at her wrapped up tail. "Yeah, he said it should be fine, but it hurts a lot," she meowed, then looked over at Bogpaw again. "And you? Will you be fine?"

Elmheart limped back into the warriors den. His paw wasn't feeling as sore, but he didn't want to say on it any longer.
Hickoryfoot yawned and stretched. Her scratches weren't that bad, so she was starting to wonder if she should be doing something.

Dayscar smirked at Mistpaw's feigned innocence and just waved her tail for Mistpaw to follow, "Yeah."
She lead the way over to Honeysplash. She shot a meaningful glance in Swiftfoot's direction before mewing, "Okay, let's go."
She padded out of the camp, heading toward the border they'd chased out the last two foxes. As she walked she meowed, "One of the foxes was washed out of the territory by the river, so when we're done checking the border on this side of the river, we will be going to check the other end as well, to be sure the fox didn't climb out on that end."
Bogpaw grinned, "Of course I'm fine! That fox was nothing!"
He puffed out his chest, which agitated his bruised side, making him wince and hold in a pained gasp, "Ah, uh, actually, I haven't talked to Rainflight yet. He looked busy."

We'll move as a group along the border." Dayscar nodded to Honeysplash, " You can mark the border." Then looking at Mistpaw she meowed, " You'll search within the border." Finally she flicked her tail at herself and Swiftfoot, " We'll check the other side of the border." |
