Duckstep looked to the sky. The sun was disgustingly bright, and there were no clouds in sight. Sighing he stood and stretched. Shaking his fur like he could shake off the heat. Having longer fur was a curse in this situation.

Ebonypaw was relaxing in the shadows and Duckstep moved over to the warriors den to patch a bit that had dried and fallen out of place. From what the warrior could see, no cat wanted to be out in the sun and like Ebonypaw, were resting in the shadows.

Ebonypaw just stared at her and blinked for a moment before saying "I am taking a break." his brother was out on another one of his adventures, so Ebonypaw was left to sulk by himself. "What are you doing? What kind of cat are you to have that kind of energy in this weather."

Ebonypaw panicked for a moment. Talking about things like that was his brothers forte "I'm not sure you would want to be doing anything in the sun anyways." he finally said. It was a bail of sorts. He didn't mention her mentor, but didn't completely drop the subject.

This is a really really hard decision to make, but I think it's the right one. I'm leaving MintClan. My schedule is completely incompatible with the active rpers in the Clan, and I hardly ever feel like rping anymore. Cedarstar can be taken over by an active member, or replaced with someone else's character, and Aspenblaze can be put up for claiming by anybody or killed off. (I planned to have her be a supporter of Blossomclaw later on, so if somebody wants her they can continue with that idea if they want [or through it out, I don't really care]) I'll miss rping with all of you, and I hope to see you elsewhere on the forums. ))

(I'm sorry to hear the BC! I've been thinking as well and the clan is starting to go inactive. It may be time to start over new. But if y'all are willing to keep rping, I will stay for however long that lasts. I'm terribly sorry for my inactivity this week, it's been much too hectic to squeeze rping in.)
Ebonypaw would rather not, but she looked hopeful and the tom didn't want to crush her hope. Sighing he nodded "Sure. I haven't eaten anything today, it would me nice."

Hollowpaw continued along the path. They had made it to the boundary lines and had crossed them without much trouble. Finding something though, would prove to be a difficult task.
