Hawkpaw finished grooming himself and turned his attention back to Hollypaw. Thinking for a moment, the tom said," No not really besides enjoying the moment of that water Hollypaw.", laughed the tom once again as he scratched his side with his tail.

Feeling challenged, Hawkpaw said,"You got a plan on how to leave without being noticed?" The tom smiled and gave a smirk excited for this adventure Hollypaw was taking about not doubting this decision.

"I do. But only if you think you're good enough to follow it." Hollowpaw challenged, a grin splitting his mouth. Of course he had a plan. They had to get out of camp without being noticed. It wouldn't be too hard, but would require some climbing.

"You got yourself a challenge!", growled the tom playfully as he got up excited with claws unsheathed. Realizing his claws were unsheathed, he sheathed it and Hawkpaw's ears waited to hear Hollypaw's plans.

"Great. So here's my idea." he moved closer and lowered his voice back to a whisper "You see the walls of the camp? There is a trail that leads up, but you are forced to move into a crack in the side. No one can see you from the camp. The trick is getting up. It's a hard climb. Once you get to the top it get's easier." he had climbed it once before, and tired a few times before that.

That will cast a shadow over us." he glanced at the sky "Maybe thirty minutes... that should be enough. I'm gonna tell Ebonypaw real fast. He won't come, but he'll help cover for us." many a time had he tried to get his less outgoing twin to adventure with him. But it never happened. Hollowpaw was excited to go with Hawkpaw "Be right back." he winked at the other mischievously before running off, obviously excited.

After telling Ebonypaw, who told him that 'It was a bad idea Hollowpaw.' and that they 'Were going to get caught.', Hollowpaw returned to Hawkpaw and nodded "I told him. We still have a little while. Let's start walking over though and I can explain the climb."

The time had come and Hollowpaw gesture for the other to follow. Squeezing through the crack he unsheathed his claws and started the climb. The rocks were lose, but he had found a path that was good enough to climb.

The climb was rough. Near the top Hollowpaw almost lost his grip and scrabbled for a moment. Hopefully Hawkpaw had not noticed. He could feel a cut on his paw pad, but ignored it. Too excited about the adventure. Finally reaching the top he sighed in relief and made a break for the trees "That was a tough climb." he huffed.

Panting hard, Hawkpaw said,"That was hard and you were right!" The tom was finally on the top and he fell down weak, tired, and still panting hard after that climb.

Hollowpaw took a moment to stretch then moved along the top of the cliff. They could look down into camp if they wanted. The cliff usually had a look out on it, but he had planned their 'escape' to where they were switching guards "Come on." he hissed, voice low once again. Breaking into a run he kept low to the ground and weaved between the trees and bushes to avoid being seen.

Hawkpaw nodded sprinting to catch up with Hollypaw and he panted lightly this time. "Alright, we have officially escaped camp now/", guessed Hawkpaw with a smile on his face.

"Yup. we're lucky. Looks like the guard hasn't been replaced. Once we reach the thicker part of the forest we'll be home free." suddenly he saw Duckstep jump up into position. Yelping softly in surprise he stopped suddenly and half tackled half pushed Hawkpaw into the cover of the bushes.

Hollowpaw waited until Duckstep had turned away then rolled off the other cat "Sorry. Duckstep was suddenly there. We can still go, but we have to go through the bushes now." he noticed a hollow log, ironic considering his name and how lucky it was. Flicking his tail towards it he moved to make his way through it.

They finally reached the edge of the more spotty part of the forest. Now they were to the thicker part of the tree's away from the camp "Nice escape!" he sighed grinning.
