Tidepaw stretched out as she exited the apprentices den, her long tail curling a bit as she arched her back. Her amber eyes scanned the camp watching as the clan bustled along like usual, "Another day" She spoke to herself before she padded towards the fresh kill pile to quickly eat something. The current drought had taken many things away from the camp not just water but prey as well, as they searched for water elsewhere.

Ebonypaw and Hollowpaw padded back into camp side by side, each carrying a ball of soaked moss. To avoid losing any more water they quickly took it to the nursery. Seedflower thanked them and they headed back out. "It's really hot!" Ebonypaw meowed, shaking out his fur "Even though we just got back from the river." he spotted Tidepaw and walked over, leaving his brother no choice but to follow.

Tidepaw watched as the twins returned into camp with soaked moss which brought a small smile to her face, Thank Starclan they found water.. She thought. The she-cat's ears perked slightly as she turned to face Ebonypaw, "Oh uhm hello there Ebonypaw" She greeted with a small smile even though a slight tone of awkwardness was in her greeting.

"Hello." Hollowpaw replied, curtly nodding. Unlike his brother he was much more antisocial. "Don't be so cold." Ebonypaw whined, leaning against his brother dramatically and basically being dead weight. After Hollowpaw threatened to bite his ear Ebonypaw finally straightened "I certainly hope so, the water won't last forever." even being as bright and energetic as himself the sun was still getting to him and he would be pleased when it finally rained again.

Tidepaw giggled a bit as the twins teased one another, her tail wrapped neatly around her paws, "Yeah.." she softly mewed. She sighed as other thoughts buzzed inside her head, like how her name was very ironic for the situation that the clan was in.. Maybe her parents named her just for sheer irony

Tidepaw pondered the question, "Well due to the heat many patrols and such have been moved to the night, so I usually go on patrol around sunset" She replied. Although everyone was usually up and about through the day not much work was being done with the exception of the town's usual run for water along with other warriors.
