"Ok," meowed Stormfrost, "She couldn't have gotten to far. Kits always love to push their boundaries don't they." She began to look around, trying to find a scent trail.
Echoheart face lit up as her apprentice approached. She was usually a happy go lucky cat who enjoyed teaching her apprentice. "We're going to start with hunting today," she meowed, "Would you like to fish or hunt on land?"

"Yes they do. I think I scared Woodkit a little too much and I didn't even try. " Oakstar said exasperated by the kits.

"Redpaw, you must have patience," Snowleaf told her apprentice. "There are many things a medicine cat has to learn. When I was an apprentice, I had to wait to learn, I had to wait for a cat to receive green-cough to learn about treating it. I had to wait for a queen to give birth to learn how to walk her through. And speaking of queens, Snowdapple will be having her kits soon, so do you want to experience that, or no?" She knew that the answer would be an exited yes. She knew her apprentice already, always wanting to learn and get things done.
Woodkit watched Oakstar leave. A punishment? She ran straight to the nursery to find her mother and brothers fast asleep and turned to Eaglekit and prodded him. "Eaglekit! Wake up! Lets play!" she whispered into his ear. I want to get this punishment stuff out of my head!

Meadowfern watched her kit, Eaglekit, playing in the small clearing outside of the nursery. She was dreaming. She settled down in the soft grass as Mothkit bounded out of the nursery and pounced on Eaglekit, only to get pinned to the ground. Mothkit squealed playfully. All of a sudden, a band of foxes came into the camp and raced towards her babies. "Mothkit! Eaglekit!" she screeched, trying to get up and protect them. But she was stuck to her place, only able to watch her kits be torn to pieces.
Meadowfern shot her head up. It was just a dream, Meadowfern, just a dream she told herself. She saw Woodkit prodding Eaglekit. "Sorry, did I wake you?" said the small kit. "No, little one, just a bad dream," she replied blankly. "Oh, cheer up, then!" said Woodkit, as though she just walked through Meadowfern's dream.

"Great, I love hunting!" Petalpaw chirped happily, her ears perked with interest. She was already moving towards he camp entrance without noticing if Echoheart was with her or not. Her mouth didn't miss a beat, words tumbling out like a waterfall. "I think land hunting would be fun. Oh! Maybe I could catch a rabbit. I haven't managed to find one yet but I really want to!"

Brairpaw stretched and yawned, prodding her brother in the side with sharp prods. "Get up."
Bravepaw opened his eyes sleepily. "Wha..?" He looked up, seeing Briarpaw's gray-teal eyes.
"I want to see Snowdapple and say hi." She stated as Bravepaw looked up.
Bravepaw was used to Brairpaw's unhappiness and sometimes snappy personality. "Okay," He yawned. "I'll come with you." He got up and walked beside Briarpaw.

"Hunting is a a good thing to work on. Realizing things that might make our job harder is another good thing to do and learning by watching others is great. I'm glad that we have you in the clan. I hope my kits are great apprentices like you." Snowdapple glanced down at her belly that was bulging a little.

"that would be nice. Would either of you like a bite of fish?" Snowdapple offered hoping they would take her up on it. Otherwise she would find the other queens and offer them some.
