Stormfrost could tell Poppysong was nervous since her sister had left RippleClan. She hoped her own experiences could help calm the she-cat, since she was also half-clan.

"Yay!" squealed Woodkit. "Wait, you lazy butts coming or not?" she looked over her shoulders to her brothers. "It will be the first time you ever did something." The second I get out of the nursery, I'm going out of the camp for an adventure! thought Woodkit. I wanna catch some prey for Momma. Woodkit wanted to be out of the camp more than ever!
Snowleaf padded out of her den to get a drink of water. Her mouth felt like a desert since she hadn't drank anything for a whole day. After that, she would get her share of prey from the pile and have a break from her duties. While she strolled over to the water by the entrance, she scraped her paw on a sharp rock. "Mouse dung," she muttered she drank a bit then limped back to the medicine den to treat her wound, and it wouldn't be easy since she was doing it to herself.

Mossyfoot nodded to Rosepaw as he led her out of the camp. "Let's get going then"
Marshkit didn't look back. Who cared if her brothers couldn't be bothered to come along? As she stepped out of the camp, the first thing she noticed was the light. Everything seemed brighter out here, and the air smelled a little different too, a bit fresher. There were much bigger cats all around, yet none of them seemed to notice the kits so far. "Wow" Marshkit said after a few moments.

Blizzardpaw stretched, yawned and looked around for something to do. She decided to find out who her mentor was. She padded over to Oakstar. "Hey Oakstar, who's going to be my mentor?" She was curious to start training.
Larkwing slept in the warrior's den.
Adderfrost, every once in a while picked up his head and opened his eyes to see if Blizzardpaw was around. Other than that he slept in the elder's den. |

"Lets go explore out of the camp first! I bet ya cant swim as good as me!" Woodkit squealed excitedly. "It looks like fun to swim!" She bounded up to the water-covered camp entrance. "Cold" Woodkit screamed and backed away from the lake. "Looks like I'll find something else to explore..." she trailed off as she saw the medicine den. It's so... cool! "Lets explore this one first," she bounded off to the medicine den without an answer. "Hello? Anyone here?" called Woodkit into the den as she entered. "Hello, young kit," mowed an unfamiliar voice, but carried a familiar scent from her faintest memory.
Snowleaf padded up to what looked like Woodkit. "Your first time out of the nursery, right" she said in a friendly tone. "Are you the leader? Why does it smell like gross plants? Why are you alone in here, unlike the other cats?" The words blew out of Woodkit's mouth like a million live prey bursting out of one burrow. "Woah, woah, woah, slow down. First of all, I'm not leader, I'm medicine cat, second of all, those plants are herbs, third of all, I'm supposed to be alone."

Marshkit crinkled her nose as she stepped inside the medicine cat's den. The smell was far too strong for her tastes. While Woodkit barraged Snowleaf with questions, Marshkit simply examined her surroundings. Like the nursery, it was dark inside, something Marshkit was quickly finding she did not enjoy. Once Snowleaf answered her sister's questions, she spoke up. "Come on Woodkit, let's go look at somewhere else now" She was glad for an excuse to leave, the herbs were already giving her a headache.

"Bye, Snowleaf!" Snowleaf watched the young kit follow her sister out of the den. They were best friends, and they would always stay together. That was the thing that Snowleaf adored most in cats. Friendship and close bonds, even if it wasn't when Snowleaf herself wasn't included. Woodkit and Marshkit would make a wonderful team together when they become warriors.
Woodkit bounded after Marshkit. "Where are we going now? Warrior den? Apprentice den? Leader den?" she asked. She was so exited about the whole camp thing!

Snowleaf padded to the back of the den towards her herbs. It smelled a bit foal, so she decided to dig through and toss out some rotten plants. She nosed through the dock leaves to find a crippled brown leaf. She tossed it into a pile. She did the same with the marrow and coltsfoot. After finishing, she found a beetle crawling around on the floor of the den. She sniffed at it, backed up a bit, then pounced. She opened up her front paws a bit to see the beetle crawling in the small space she gave it. Then she let it go and realized she wasn't a kit anymore.

"I already tried swimming our but the water's cold... or we can find a hole in the walls to get out! Imagine what Momma will think of our first adventure!" replied Woodkit. She bounded up to the camp walls without waiting for an answer, and searched for any holes big enough for her and her sister to fit through.

"It can't be that cold..." Marshkit mumbled, sticking a paw near the water. Almost immediately she recoiled, shaking her paw off. "Nevermind, you were right!" Looking at the camp around her, she saw the leader's den, which currently appeared to be empty. "Let's go there!"
