A little while later, four kits were curled up next to Raya. She watched them in silence for a few minutes, just taking it all in. She may have grown up alone, but she was happy knowing that her kits would be surrounded by other cats in a place they belonged. Eventually she looked to Snowleaf, speaking. "You and Oakstar mentioned that their names end it kit, right? Well this first one, right here" She pointed with her tail to the biggest kit, a brown tabby. "Oakstar took me in when I was vulnerable, in hopes that she'll be just as kind, I'm naming her Woodkit. And next to her" She pointed to the black kit with a brown ear. "This land around her is home, and so she'll be Marshkit. Now for this one" She next pointed to the black tabby. "He reminds me of the sky, his name will be Nightkit. And now for this little guy" The last kit was a little fluffy brown cat. "He's small, even compared to the rest, but he's so cute, he'll be Mushroomkit"

Oakstar found a mouse scuttling along and pounced. She caught it and trotted over to some a crook in a tree and set the mouse in it to keep it from the muddy ground. She went back on the prowl becoming over excited and ran at a vole scaring the away.

Stormfrost spotted a vole near the edge of the water. Slowly she stalked up behind it and pounced. Burying the vole she looked around for more prey.

"Congratulations, Raya!" she said to the queen. "There're so adorable." I wish I could have a happy family like this, Snowleaf thought poorly. but instead I became a medicine cat. Snowleaf got a little lonely by herself in the medicine den. That was one of those reasons she wanted an apprentice.

Woodkit gave out a tiny squeak. So warm... she thought, curling up against her mother's side I wish I could be like this forever... warm... so warm... she thought as she drifted off to sleep as a ball of fur with the soft rise and fall of a tiny kit.

Oakstar caught a mouse. She put it with her other catch before she stalked a nice plump vole. She stepped on a twig and lost it.

Snowleaf woke up in her nest in the medicine den. She was awfully tired after helping Raya with her kitting. She looked toward the den entrance and - oh no! She slept until sunhigh. She needed to get to work. She looked at her herbs. She needed juniper, and maybe some catmint. She headed out of her den and towards the camp entrance.
(( I'm willing to mentor a medicine cat apprentice xD))

Snowdapple walked up to Snowleaf. "Is there any herbs I should take or exercises I should do to make sure my kits are healthy. I'm so worried something might happen to them." She asked kneeding the ground anxiously.
Oakstar began to get frustrated as she had lost multiple small prey so early in her hunt.

"You could take a short walk, that would work," Snowleaf said to the queen. A walk was good exercise for any cat. Soon she will have her kitting due, she thought.

Rosepaw padded up to Mossyfoot. "Am am I going to be going out with you and the other warriors on patrol tonight? " She was still shy and uncomfortable around her mentor despite the training they had done already.

Mossyfoot gave her an understanding look. He was never really the insecure type, but he knew Rosepaw had genuine potential, and she just needed to push herself to get there. "We will, and it'll be good practice!"
