*Redclaw followed Morningfeather.*
*Brambeclaw was sitting with cobwebs down his back. he meowed* you two will hunt. try to stay as far away from the borders as possible too.

Colfer came across her nervously. He dipped his head.
Morningfeather nodded, heading out of camp and flicking her tail for him to come.

Colfer shrugged. "N..Not sure." He admitted.
Morningfeather scented the air, stalking towards the scent of a squirrel and pouncing on it once she saw it. She killed it with a bit and dropped it.

Colfer nodded. "Sure."
Morningfeather shrugged. "Really odd." She said, starting to go towards the scent of yet another squirrel in the same area as the last one. It tried to skirt up a tree, but she caught it and pinned it down, catching it. Then she looked up into the tree. There was a squirrel nest, with small baby squirrels inside. Her face was horrified, "Redclaw.. I just killed two parents." She murmured.

"Those poor baby squirrels, without their proper guardians.." She murmured. "I guess it's my fault. They will die in some time without parents." She said sadly.

Morningfeather gave a relieved nod. "I'm glad." She purred. "The parents probably out in their fair share of work. Imagine how hard it would be to raise a litter of kits! Of course, it would still be wonderful." She added.

"we sure do." Morningfeather mewed, scenting the air again and beginning to track a peculiar scent. She decided to find out where it was. She traded it to a wet, shallow puddle of water and saw a toad. "Is this..err.. Edible?" She asked nervously.

*Redclaw purred* no, it isn't. the only clan i know of that eats toads is Shadowclan *he looked up and saw a mouse. he stalked towards. he leaped and caught it, killing it with a bite to its neck*

"Well, I think that leaving the toad there is a waste of prey." She said, snapping the toad's spine and wincing at the foul taste. She dropped it beside her two squirrels. "If no one else will have it, I can eat jr later when we get back." She purred.
