Batstar padded up to Fireclaw. "I need you to watch over the camp for a little bit," he began. "I'm going for a walk."

Batstar nodded at left camp. It was nice stretching his legs for a change. He was normally stuck in camp. After a short while a smell hit his nose closer to the entrance of the cave. He just vaguely recognised it. Puma!Batstar thought, terrified. He ran back to camp, the was no way he could take on a puma himself.

Beechsplash watched his leader run in frightened. He immediately dropped the bunny. "What? Can I help? What is it, Batstar?" The large tom perked his ears and stayed his ground.

Pearblossom chuckled and shook her head, obviously amused.
"Right then" She took up a crouched attack position, "Attack me" Pearblossom said plainly.
Lilyfrost came back from the hunt. It wasn't very eventful, nothing really happened. She looked up, startled as Batstar came charging into camp. Silently she padded over toward Batstar and Beechsplash, ready to help if she was needed.

Both Darkclaw and Silverheart jumped to their feet when they saw the freightened leader. Darkclaw ran over, followed by Silverheart.

"Gather as many warriors as you can," Batstar said, looking at Beechsplash, Lilyfrost, Darkclaw, and Silverheart. "On my walk, I discovered the scent of a puma within one of the tunnels. We must find it and drive it out." He paused for a moment, taking a deep breath. "Don't try to fight it though, I don't want any unnecessary deaths."

Darkclaw dug his claws into the ground in alarm. Blackdawn immediately worried about him, but he was a warrior now and he needed to do his duty. She nodded seriously and looked around for any other available cats.

Beechsplash kept his plain face and pulled back his lips, baring his teeth. "Puma?" He looked behind him at Dawnshine. "Should we bring her just in case?" The white warrior locked eyes with her and beckoned her forth.
Dawnshine knew and kept her apprentice back. "Stay here, I will be back." She padded to her leader as Beechsplash padded off to gather Warriors. "Warriors, come!" He said in a serious tone.

Fireclaw ran to see why Beechsplash was calling for everyone to come."What's going on?" He asked confused.

Beechsplash's fur stood on end. "Puma. We need to gather everyone for a patrol." The warrior flicked his tail to his frightened leader. "Should we bring Nightrose? She seems too inexperienced to take on a puma. And like Batstar said: 'We don't need any unnecessary deaths.' " He looked over is shoulder, anxious to fight the large Puma. He flexed his long, sharp, hooked black claws.

Fireclaw thought for a moment. "No, she won't be coming we can't bring inexperienced cats to fight this puma." He said.

Silverheart nodded, approving the decision. The new she-cat was too inexperienced. Darkclaw looked around seeing if there were anymore available warriors.

(Hey, I've been busy with school.)
Batstar nodded to Beechsplash. "That would be wise," he said, trying to hide his terror as well as possible. "One of you go fetch Dawnshine." He saw Pebbleclaw padding out of the warriors' den and beckoned his over.
"Yes?"
"You come, too." Batstar meowed. "We need all the experienced warriors we can get."

Beechsplash nodded and sat next to his leader, calmly pressing against him and feeling his fear. The tom huffed and flexed his claws. Dawnshine nodded to her apprentice and walked over to Batstar. "Really? A Puma?" She chuckled and flicked her tail.

"Yes, a puma." Batstar said seriously. "I need to to gather a small supply of herbs. Cats are bound be wounded." He paused for a moment. "I'm actually quite surprised one wandered in here, they don't come about often."

"Well then." The medicine cat padded into her den to collect useful herbs. She swabbed some cob web around her leg to stop anyone's bleeding. She grabbed some Golden Rod in her jaws to treat wounds. "What else!?" What if she had forgot something? Suddenly she knew what she was missing! "Coltsfoot!" It helped shortness of breath with would be incredibly useful. She swooped it up in her mouth and padded to Batstar. "Erlert!" She said with a stuffed mouth. She meant to say 'Alright'.

The medicine cat turned to Rosepelt. "I have Coltsfoot, Cobweb and Goldenrod. Anything we may need?" The shecat swayed her tail and smiled, trying to not think about what will happen.
