"That is actually a very good question." Flamestar meowed. "It's also one that is very complex. We still don't have many cats, so we have to worry about a lack of numbers. The threat of the rogues is high, but exhausting our own cats could be just as devastating as a rogue attack. For now, I think two border patrols should be sufficient, as well as enough hunting patrols to keep us fed. We also need to start worrying about and preparing for the approaching leaf-fall and leaf-bare. Prey will be getting scarcer soon so we'll need more hunting patrols in the coming moons."

She stood up still a little wobbely helt the peice of prey down with one paw before ripping IT into two "im terribely sorry eaglepaw but when duty calls youve got to answer. Maybe another time." she mewed before padding off toward the medicine cat "Who is this" she asked nodding toward the rouge

"Thank you, Flamestar", Poppymist replied, glad that she has gotten an answer to her question. "Is there anything else I should know? I would like to visit Pebblepaw in the medicine den, if that's fine with you", she added, slowly standing up and stretching.

Blazepelt spotted his sister heading into the medicine den and decided to grab some freshkill. Cloverleaf would be fine with the injured rogue as long as another warrior was around and he had been guarding the rogue since the battle. Grabbing a mouse of off the fresh kill pile he padded back over to Eaglepaw. "Mind if I join you?" he asked.


Firepool padded over to her sister and sat down beside her, careful to stay out of Cloverleaf's way.

"Just ask if you have more questions later!" Flamestar called as Poppymist padded away. After a few moments, Flamestar stood up and pushed himself out of his den to where he could overlook the camp. We've gone a long way since the old territories. He thought to himself. We must stop these rogues or we'll lose everything that I, along with every cat here fought for. It's my duty to make the best decisions for these cats, every battle a cat dies in is ultimately my fault. I know that every cat here would give their lives to protect this clan, but it's up to me to make sure they don't have to.

"Thanks, Cloverleaf!", Poppymist mewed, bushing past the injured rogue and into the medicine den. There was an ever-present scent of tangy herbs and berries, and they smell tickled at her nose. She saw Pebblepaw's small, limp body lying in a nest and felt her heart ache for the apprentice. "Greetings, Firepool", she said quietly, coming to sit beside the she-cat.

"Has Cloverleaf told you anything about her condition?", Poppymist asked nervously, hoping that the apprentice would heal and become strong again. "She fought so hard during the battle. Like a true warrior", she noted, remembering how Pebblepaw had helped her defeat the rogues. The she-cat laid down near them, resting her head on her paws and neatly tucking her bushy caramel colored tail around her flank.

He has a slender figure, slightly taller than the average cat his age. His nose and mouth are long and has a scratch mark. || He is very playful and energetic, not often too willing to get a task done but does it none the less. He's very bold and brave, and is willing to stand up to other cats to prove himself to his Clan. He has a quick speed due to his light weight and great intelligence in battle situations. || He was once a kittypet kit, but found by Flameclan. Longpaw was walking around camp absent-mindedly, before noticing Cloverleaf. He bounded over, immediately settling. "What happened? Are they okay?"

Cloverleaf blinked slowly, slightly surprised by the apprentice's kindness, even towards a rogue who had just recently attacked camp. The medicine cat looked from Blood to Longpaw, Ï...I think he's fine. If we're lucky it'll only be a dislocated joint.¨
