Sure! Um I was thinking that since he "died" by drowning maybe he was just swept away by the current, knocked unconscious, and wakes up to Ember. Spends a bit of time with her and falls in love and decides to stay with her.
So we could start sometime after he starts healing. Maybe they re hunting or something)

Though, he was with a wielder, so he figured that he was not a threat, '…Unless he is her prisoner, and he tried to attack her while he was out? …' Red Heart was suspicious now, but he decided to give him the benefit of the doubt. Red Heart didn't want to crowd him, so he decided to see if this tom would approach him
