Grey Sky purred when she pulled the thrush instead of the squirrel, though at this moment he felt nothing could have upset him. He felt quite at peace.
Unbeknownst to him, this was a turning point. This is a moment of character development. He is changing, becoming less dependent and more ... peaceful. He will be able to keep it together without having someone around.

Jade Shadow nodded, concentrating on the earth where she pointed. She imagined the earth forming a column she took a deep breath, lifting her paw slowly. Despite her concentration a massive column shot miles into the air knocking over a tree or so. She gasped, looking at Ginger clearly shocked. "Oops." |

Ginger Wren chuckled, "It's no problem. There are plenty more trees where that came from." She looked up at the column, "You know, I think we'll be able to see this from home," she said, twitching her whiskers, looking at Jade Shadow from the corner of her eyes. Then she turned to her and said, "I think after that, we should take a quick break. We don't want you passing out," she said, looking back up at the column. Then she laughed one loud laugh, "Any ideas on what you wanna call it? It'll probably be here or a while."

Grey Sky settled down near her, off to the side of the nest. He dug into his squirrel, feeling as though nothing had ever tasted so good. He could feel her warmth at his side, even though the space between than was more than a few inches.

Ginger Wren chuckled, "Sky Rock sounds perfect," she said and was about to continue, but the tingling caught her ears. She wondered how she couldn't have noticed it before because of her senses necklace. She turned quickly on the spot and faced right exactly where the sound was coming from and saw a cat standing there in the clearing. Not grown, he appeared to be young, and she turned to look at Jade Shadow

Grey Sky ate and finished his squirrel in silence. He did not feel uncomfortable or awkward in that silence though. He turned to Aspen Moon, "What did you want to do today?"

Ginger Wren looked him over, 'He doesn't seem threatening ...' she thought to herself. She made a spur of the moment decision, "Come here, let's take you back to camp. We won't hurt you," she promised. She padded forward slowly
Grey Sky smiled, "That sounds nice. Do you want me to go into the clearing to see if there are any queens or others who would be willing?" he asked softly, looking down at the kits.

Grey Sky nodded, "Sounds good to me," he meowed with a smile. He looked to the nursery entrance, seeing the warm glow of the sun filtering in. He wondered how everything could have ended up so well for him.
[So right now, it's basically like he loves her, but he loves the relationship that they have too. He doesn't feel any particular need to take things any further. If things do go farther, then he'll basically be euphoric, but he is content with being friends if you wanna keep it that way]]
Ginger Wren nodded to Jade, "We'll give him the opportunity to join, if not we can escort him back home." Ginger said this quietly, looking at the young tom. She rose her voice, "We will take you back to camp and get you something to eat, let you rest up," she said in an easy tone.

(Alright. It would be a while before she develops any feelings for him. Right now she just needs someone to lean on. She knows it wouldn't be fair to be romantic with anyone while she's greiving (sort of rebound I guess) so she only wants a friend but she needs a tom so she sort of chose Gray to be that friend. Maybe something will come out of it though)

I'm pretty sure he'll also be able to realize when he's getting too clingy now as well. Before, like when they got back from the ceremony, he didn't know anything was wrong and he didn't realize how clingy he was coming off. But now he is a little more aware of how he is and he'll become normal within a couple of weeks ]]
Grey Sky sighed contentedly, "I feel like it's a good day for a walk, don't you think?" he asked, his voice exuberant. [[lol, they're going to be surprised when they go out and see the 'sky rock' xD]

Grey Sky padded after her, then stopped in his tracks, "Whoa! What do you think that is?" he asked, pointing up with his chin, motioning towards the huge pillar rising up through the early morning clouds

Ginger Wren laughed a free and joyful laugh, "Well, if you ask me, that sounds pretty wild to me. We get to eat whenever we want, go wherever we want, we can even sleep wherever we want!" she exclaimed. She looked over at the young tom and motioned towards the camp, "We'll explain it all when we get to camp."

Ginger Wren motioned to the prey pile, "It's actually not often that any of us go hungry. I assume it's the noisy monstrosity around your neck that has kept you from eating," she said, though with humor in her tone. "Take your fill, I shall go and fetch our leader."

Ginger Wren purred. She padded off to the High Tree, her tail high. She reached the entrance and called in to their leader. Twining Ivy perked her ears and padded forwards from where she was seated moments before. She saw Ginger Wren and purred, "Good morning, what have you brought me this morning?" she asked, scenting another cat on her pelt. Twining Ivy tilted her head, "Ginger Wren, what's going on?" she asked, searching the clearing. She noticed the young tom gorging himself on a rabbit, "does it have something to do with him?" she asked, her whiskers twitching.
Ginger Wren nodded, "lost kitty pet, hasn't eaten for days, has one of those noisy necklace things," she explained
