Stagpaw was utterly grossed out by the log, but freshkill is freshkill. She got into her hunter;s stance, and crept closer to the ravens. She bunched all of her limbs under herself, then leapt onto one of the ravens, killing it with her weight on its neck.
Royalfire grabbed at one of the other crows as it tried to fly away, dragging it down and delivering a killing bite.
"Ugh. I can taste the maggots it was eating! GGRROOSSSS!" Stagpaw whispered/screamed.

(Don't forget, it's against the warrior code to eat before you bring it to camp) (I bet Stagpaw won't care, but I know Darksky will.) Darksky followed the two, grumbling and making a list of things to tell Amberstar about Stagpaw, when the apprentice pounced. "At least I can add 'good hunter' to the list..." He muttered, somewhat jokingly and annoyed, to himself. |

I hope we see them before Amberstar tells me train her or patrol or something... He thought angrily. I bet she'd do it, since Stagpaw's mentor is away...

Hollysong padded to the border, looking around for the other medicine cats. It was dusk, so they might have traveled there without her thinking she wouldn't come, but as she scented the air, the medicine cat scents were stale from the last gathering.

"Yes, but its already exceedingly late and we best be heading to the Star Tunnels without the others as it's still a distance from here and we wouldn't want to miss the time we have." Hollysong mewed, eying the sky with unease. She'd rather wait for he other medicine cats, but they might not make it in time to share tongues with Starclan.
