Tornwhisker | 89 Moons | Elder's Den | Late MorningTornwhisker jumped a bit as the warrior stepped in. "Oh good morning Addersnap," he greeted. He tried to move a bit more comfortable on his moss and gave a purr to the dark brown tom. "That would be nice, but no rush. Mind keeping an old coot like me some company?" the white tom asked, he didn't feel like moving around too much today and would enjoy to talk to someone, although if the tom had duties to attend too he would understand. He missed being able to actually to run through the grassy plains of the forest, scouting out for prey and enjoying the breeze through his pelt. Sadly those days were over, even though they were over he still has his memories.
{You did fine X3 mind if I call you Cini?}

[ That's fine with me! ]
Addersnap looked warmly on the older Tom. He remembered when they were both younger and he had looked up to Tornwhisker as an apprentice- he wouldn't mind keeping him company in the least. He padded over and sat down next to Tornwhisker, "I wouldn't mind at all. I'm sure if something is needed of me they will let me know. How are you feeling today?" he asked. His mind was still a bit worried after the deaths of his clanmates- he would be sorrowful to see any more of them go and he knew that Tornwhisker in his elderly state was especially susceptible to illness.

Tornwhisker | 89 Moons | Elder's Den | Late MorningTornwhisker knew very well the illness that was going around in the Clan. While he was a brave Warrior he feared death, the veil of existence and non existence, while he would be in StarClan looking above his Clan mates it still gave him a shiver. I don't want to die, he thought with sadness. He'd wanted to be here in his Clan, but he didn't have a say it was up to StarClan. He would have to make the most of out of each and every single day. "Oh I'm fine Addersnap just these old bones acting up, how have you been?" he mewed the question although he was old he still enjoyed seeing the Clan bustling.

Addersnap nodded "I have been quite well, although still a bit saddened by the recent events in our clan." he said. He looked at Tornwhisker sympathetically. He knew that Mistythroat had been one of his kin with Ravenwillow and that they had been affected by his death. He was glad to see that on this day the older tom was not overcome by sadness. He worried, however, for Ravenwillow who seemed to be nowhere in sight. Was she doing well?
"The apprentices keep me occupied, though. I feel as though Morningpaw is progressing well in her warrior training, although she can get a bit distracted sometimes" he purred affectionately. Her oldersister Deerstride was proving to be a fine warrior and he had no doubt that Morningpaw would turn out the same. "She reminds me much of how Speckledwing was when she was younger. So much life in them both, they bring me so much hope for the future of our clan."

Tornwhikser | 89 Moons | Elder's Den | Late MorningThe white tom gave a saddened nod. "Mistythroat will be missed," he said with sadness. He looked up at dark brown tom and gave a sigh. "He did well for this Clan he was a wonderful medicine cat," he bowed his head as he looked at his paws he took good care of him and made sure he was well. Although his son was gone he knew he was still alive in his heart. He heard about the apprentices and gave a soft warm chuckle. "Morningpaw is a kind gentle one, especially with you teaching her I'm sure she will be fine," he gave a warm purr it was nice to be distracted, from his son's death but his heart still ached.

Falconsoar and Beechdrift. ft. turtlemist and sparrowpaw || elm woods. late morning. "Who could we possibly go to war with, Sparrowpaw?" A rumble of laughter, large feet trodding over soft ground as he moved along the path. He failed to answer any questions beyond that, absolutely baffled really that an apprentice- barely out of kit hood given having been in the nursery not even a moon prior- would worry and ask about such heavy topics. What had Pineshard, Appleshine and Hickoryblossom spoke about in the nursery during Sparrowpaw and Maplepaw's first moons? Shouldn't Sparrowpaw be asking all about the parts of the territory he hadn't explored? When he could go fight foxes and chase off rogues and be a warrior? He was a strange little tom, Falconsoar would give him that. Maybe he got these pessimistic views from him? Seemed contagious given the worries he was quickly picking up from Cedarstar himself. Perhaps Sparrowpaw was right. Maybe there would be a war. One they couldn't defend against. Who would be at fault then? Falconsoar would think it himself, of course, for no one else was deserving of blame other than he for his own faults.
The murmur of voices caught his attention, bright circular eyes turning toward their origin as he determined the owners to each feminine tune. Beechdrift and Turtlemist- the very feline he and his son were discussing. Personally, Falconsoar couldn't bring himself to doubt her. She was his best friend next to Pineshard: if he were made leader, he would ask her first and foremost to be his deputy. If that didn't speak of a deep and personal level of trust, he didn't know what did. A quiet gesture made to Sparrowpaw, the big tom crouching behind the shrubbery where he'd lay in wait. Come the two she-cats around the bend, he sprang forward with enough energy to at least startle Beechdrift from her sleep-induced stupor.
He did however feel terrible upon how badly she jumped, fur fluffing and spine arched till she stood on her very toes. His head bent, ears flattened moments before she could cuff him. "Falconsoar!" She sounded less than amused, but he was impeccably so. Surely Turtlemist would find humor in his jest, wouldn't she? "Sorry Ma." He apologized, tipping his head to allow a friendly lick against his forehead. He joked that Beechdrift was his mother purely by age and characteristics. She was always lazing about and readily advisable. Whenever he had issue, he'd been able to go to her. She was thirteen moons older than him after all- the youngest age in which it would have been acceptable for her to become mother to someone of his age.
"Now look what you've done- you've scared off my tail." A long lasting joke he found worthy of a rumble in laughter, low tone turned to a purr as he was allowed greeting of his fluffy-pelted friend. "Turtlemist I think I've found something of yours." He looked again to Sparrowpaw, ears flicking. "He'll help keep you entertained, I hope? You look bored." Excellent observation.

[[ I'm just going to stick with the style I normally use for posts. I'm not really digging the fancier fonts~ cx Also, I forgot Deerstride and Morningpaw were siblings lol It seems like the two of them get along really well, I like it. ;D ]]
Maplepaw & Morningpaw // Camp // Late Morning - -
What was this? Was this the glimmer of hope she was ever so desperately grasping onto? From the corner of her eye she saw a cat approach her. On closer inspection, Maplepaw saw that it was Morningpaw. She let out a sigh of relief. "Oh how I'm glad to see you Morningpaw!" She exclaimed, leaping to your paws. "I felt like I was going to die of boredom." The fact that the she-cat in front of her seemed to be in a good mood only made this whole situation better. She would have been fine with almost anyone, but she got lucky and accepted the new company graciously. "I've had like nothing to do for once." Maplepaw replied. The she-cat gave a little huff and flicked her tail in discontent. "I'm guessing you haven't had much else to do either, eh?" She questioned, her head tilting slightly. ((Sorry about that Fallen. Here it is!))
Morningpaw||Camp||Late Morning
A sigh seemed to echo the other apprenticeโs feelings. As she leaped up with joy, she was quick to explain her situation. Morningpaw offered a warm laugh every so often when she allowed to place her input. It was good to see someone else was in a good mood. She knew some apprentices or cats, in general, would become rather grumpy if nothingness surrounded their world. For her, that would just put a damper on her mood. To top it off, they seem to be in a chatty mood, which meant that she would have someone to banter with.
Finally, she allowed herself to slide to the ground in an exaggerated manner. She stated โI feel like I have already become one with the ground! Itโs funny because yesterday all I wanted to do is sleep, but now I am begging for something to do.โ Before she speaks further, a small groan rumble from her stomach and the result made her let out a quiet snort. She could feel her ears becoming hot with embarrassment as she stated โErrโฆ and I guess I should eat something here soon.โ

Sparrowpaw & Falconsoar with Turtlemist & Beechdrift | Elm Woods | Late Morning Halting in his tracks, Sparrowpaw turned to look at Beechdrift and Turtlemist as his father greeted them. He gave a respectful nod in greeting, hoping to slink into the shadows. "Great, now she's going to scold me." Sparrowpaw began to tense up. He ever so slowly began to slump down, praying to StarClan that while the warriors rambled on, he could hide in the shade of the forest. When Falconsoar called Beechdrift "ma", the tom couldn't help but cringe. His eyes rolled up to his father, looking very annoyed. Sparrowpaw wondered if Falconsoar's actual mother would be offended or if she had just vanished off the face of the earth. He wasn't quite sure, as he assumed she was dead. It wasn't like the young apprentice particularly cared either. His only concerns were his parents, sister, and himself. He didn't expect to be part of some grand line of warriors. In fact, he expected the opposite with his skills. Snapped back to reality with Falconsoar's words, the tom rolled his yellow eyes at his father. His claws slid out, aggravated that he was going to be given up to his mentor. Sheathing his paws once more, a chill rippled down his spine as he pictured what his mentor would do. Sparrowpaw could just see Turtlemist ordering Sparrowpaw about as he hobbled around to complete the tasks she gave him. He still had kit fluff and the fat of a spoiled rotten little tom, so he had to work in order to gain muscle. In his head, he could imagine swimming laps up and down the river as his mentor critiqued his posture, stamina, and effort. Already Sparrowpaw's legs began to ache. The tom sighed and looked up at his mentor, wondering if he could read her expression.

[[ Sorry for the late reply! I've just been busy~ uvu" ]]
Morningpaw & Maplepaw // Camp // Late Morning
The she-cat couldn't help but giggle at the apprentice's over-dramatic endeavors. It was nice that at least someone had the same feelings she had with boredom. "I don't sleep in much," Maplepaw piped in. "But I feel you. I was just about to tolerate anything at this point." Her ears perked when there was suddenly a rumbling noise. Seeing the look on Morningpaw's face, she knew it came from her. The apprentice merely gave a wide grin and went over to her, giving her a friendly shove. "Well come on then grumbly-stomach, let's get you something to eat!" She meowed, beckoning her to follow as she padded off towards the fresh-kill pile. Once they were there she gave a nod to her, allowing her to choose what she wanted.

((No worries Fallen! I understand. Right now I won't be on much today as I need to take a test I am studying for. By the time I finish it wouldn't surprise me if it is well into the night. However, I will reply when I get the chance to.))

OOC: Blah this muse of mines. Sorry about this and that wait. Morningpaw commented โMy sleeping patterns feels random at times. Sometimes I want to sleep all day, or I want to stay up at night, but other times it seems standard with going to bed at night and waking up in the morning. However, I do try to wake up in the mornings since I donโt want to miss a single second of the new day.โ She let out a nod at her second comment. Morningpaw would be willing to tolerate a high-intensity workout at this point, but then again, she could tolerate a lot of things when she felt like this.
As she was absorbed in thought, she felt a shove next to her. It wasnโt tough, but enough to make her snap at her daydream. After listening to what the apprentice said, she let out a grin and meow โAlright, I wonder if there are any voles on the pile. I feel I could eat a ton of those!โ With the thought of food on her mind, she started moving rather quickly towards the pile and scanning it carefully. Once she found a decent sized one, she eagerly selected it and waited to see if Maplepaw would choose any.
