Emberstrike thought for a second, trying to remember if she had seen a cat. "Well, you're the only living cat I have seen yet." Emberstrike hoped that Amber had survived, she didn't want this kind cat to feel the pain of a loved one dying. Death was all this storm had brought, death and grief.

Jack stopped at Lily's body, "This is my sister. She died from this catastrophe. Will you help me bury her, and get along while we bury her?" he pleaded, his eyes changing from emotionless to sad. He stood protectively over Lily's body. Stormstrike looked at Plumfeather's leg. "I think Plumfeather should help herself first. She needs her own strength if she is to help us do anything." She replied, looking at Plumfeather. Her shoulder was getting worse, but she played off as if it were fine, hoping not to worry anyone.
Ginger's brain worked on figuring out a possible solution. We could dig around her, maybe loosening the she-cat from under the tree... she thought. Her paws itched to help. "Wait," she said, finally voicing her ideas, "If we dig around her, the tree should be able to balance the weight of itself out enough to get her out." she mewed, hoping it would be an okay idea.

Stormstrike dipped her head and started pawing at the soft ground. Soon enough, her fur was covered in dirt and there was a hole... Of sorts. She shook her pelt free of the dirt and she gently dragged the she-cat over to the hole. "Who wants to bury her?" she asked. Jack nodded in thanks to the she-cats. "Thank you. I think we should bury every one of the dead we see on our journey, if they haven't been eaten by surviving predators." he suggested.
Ginger smiled and started digging around the trapped she-cat. Her muscles hadn't worked much this way, so she was not making much progress with her digging. "I'll get there... Eventually." she muttered under her breath.

⇹ Plumfeather didn't think that was a good idea. It wasn't like they'd be traveling through the other Clan's camps, besides, what if they carried something that was rather contagious? "I don't think so. We just need to get out of here as soon as possible and get our wounds healed." She meowed, hoping that they'd agree. This wasn't the Clan. Her word wasn't important here. She needed her mentor right now. He'd know what to do. If only I'd saved him. She wasn't even nearly ready to be a full medicine cat.
⇹ "Yes, you will. Just, believe in yourself, or something." Amber mewed, sitting down just next to the digging cats and licking a delicate paw as she waited. Sure she wasn't doing anything now but if something happened she planned on being ready to help out.

Emberstrike felt bad for Toshi, though she was suddenly curious about him. "Where did you and your sister come from-" She started, wondering. "-Because Toshi isn't a clan name." Emberstrike didn't know if she had seen this cat before or not. She guessed she didn't, but she couldn't be to sure.

"Alright. Let's get a move on." Jack replied, pressing the dirt down. Goodbye Lily. Go see mom. He thought, leaving the site. Now let's go back to bein' alone. he added, leaping over a fence into a pasture. Stormstrike padded over to Plumfeather. "Shall we move on?" she asked.
Ginger was finally making good progress. "Go go go go!" she rushed, paws moving faster and stronger. Not sure the tree will hold on much longer... she thought, persuading herself to move faster.

⇹ "Far away from here," He replied, sniffing the air once more. Still no sign. "Farther than of you clancats have traveled. We were born as loners somewhere over those mountains," He stretched his tail over towards PeakClan territory, though he couldn't see the tall mountains from where they stood. "Then we came here, and settled just on the edge of OakClan territory. That's probably why you've never seen me before because I don't live here by..." He didn't know the name of her Clan. Er... "StreamClan I believe?"
⇹ Plumfeather nodded slowly, watching as Jack left them. What a waste of our time. She thought and turned back to Stormstrike as the forest cat asked her a question. "Yes, but I want to look for herbs first. I know your shoulders wounded pretty badly and whose going to fight off danger for me if your shoulders injured?"
⇹ Amber had grown bored as Ginger dug furiously along the ground. The cream colored she-cat opened her jaws in a yawn before standing and beginning to pad away. "I'll be back!" She called behind her before disappearing in the bushes. Was she really going to return?

Jack sniffed around for prey. Storm must have chased the prey away... he thought, rolling his eyes and patting some grass down to take a nap.
Stormstrike nodded. "I used to collect herbs for medicine cats. There's some burdock root somewhere around here.." she muttered as she started hunting around for the burdock root. "Might be some poppy seeds.. If they haven't all been shaken away."

⇹ Plumfeather shook her head, "No poppy seeds. There's no time for sleeping if we plan on getting out of here today. And there's no need for burdock, our wounds aren't quiet infected. Hmm... what about comfrey? Do you know where that is? Comfrey and Dock leaves?"

"I think there's some over in the pasture by the pond. We used to go there for those herbs since we never really could find any from our territory." Stormstrike confessed. She slowly started walking off. "Come on, it takes two to find two herbs quickly."

⇹ Plumfeather followed her through the territory, sniffing the air for the familiar scent of comfrey and dock leaves. "Hmph, your cats must have had a good long time healing if you couldn't find many comfrey and dock leaves, eh?" She still didn't know how she felt about Stormstrike after what happened to her brother on the border fight. Did that warrior that killed him even get punished for it?

"Occasionally. If we couldn't find anything by the lake." she replied as she crawled under the wiry fence. "This way." she grumbled, trotting off towards the lake. "Don't let the cows step on you." Hope some other cats are there. From OakClan. she thought, adding silent complaints to herself.

Ginger nodded happily. "What's your name?" she asked, her muscles tired. The rusty she-cat took a seat next to the tree. "And how did you get under there?" she added, hoping to get some answers as to why the forest looked so awful.

"I'm Ginger. I'm a loner, I'm ten moons old, and I like to play." Ginger mewed in reply, rolling onto her back and pawing at the air. Her eyes were full of play at that sudden moment. "So what do you guys do around here for fun? Have catastrophes?"

"Hey in ten moons too!" Rainpaw mewed, surprised at how small she was compared to Ginger. "Well... I'm not too sure about fun things to do here..." her face scrunched up for a moment, thinking, "sometimes we have races and hunting competitions, and moss ball is always fun, but once your an apprentice like me you have to focus on your training," she explained, a pang of worry when she realized that she might never see her denmates and friends- Redpaw, Frostpaw, and Moorpaw again.

⇹ That isn't funny." Amber's voice sounded as she returned, a plump mouse in her jaws. As she neared she saw that the little gray cat was freed. Great, now I can leave. "In the real world, there is no time to play. Playing doesn't help anyone." The small she-cat grumbled, dropping her prey and beginning to tear into it. How rude of me. I didn't even ask if they wanted any. The she-cat gave a gentle chuckled as she sat and tucked into her mouse. Her brother would be having a fit to her not sharing. But then again, he wasn't even here.

"What's an apprentice?" Ginger asked, laying on her belly. "And what is moss ball?" Her eyes filled with interest as she sat up and stared at Rainpaw. "Hey you're back!" she chirped when Amber came back. She took no notice of her tones and greeted her with a smile.

- Redpaw -
Redpaw opened up his eyes, the area around him coming into focus. His head, which lay rested against some kind of hard material, pounded. For the last- well, StarClan knows how long it had been, he had been going in and out of consciousness. He lifted his head slowly, scanning his surroundings. He was in a small cave formed by large rocks, the entrance blocked by a tree. Thin beams of sunlight that escaped through the areas the tree didn't cover lit up the dusty floor. His memory was a bit fuzzy, but he remembered the ground shaking, thunder.. He had been trying to get to open ground, away from the trees that swayed and fell around him, but was forced to jump inside this small area to avoid being crushed. He was beginning to feel a numb pain on one side of his face, so he gently lifted a shaking paw to touch the area around his eye, pulling it back to find that it had been dyed a dark red. He must have scraped his face on the ground, and would have to wash it later. He pulled the only body part that hadn't escaped the falling tree, his hind leg, out from under it and slowly stood up, almost falling over as the blood rushed to his head. There was a small area at the top of the entrance that looked big enough for him to get through, and after a couple of moments, he found himself outside. Wincing as he limped, Redpaw looked around for any signs of life. Had the other's survived? What had happened? What had they done to deserve this? He stopped. Had he heard voices? "H.. H-hello?" His throat was dry and sore.
(I'm just going to leave this here, it's too long oops)

⇹ Plumfeather followed after the older she-cat with her tail dragging in the dust. The pain of her leg made her limp even heavier to the point where she had to raise it up to stop it from toughing the ground. How could StarClan do this to them? They'd done nothing wrong to be punished this bad. No. Twistedfoot said StarClan had nothing to do with the whether. They didn't control the rain and the snow. Her mentor had told her this so many times she could remember this by heart. As she limped on after Stormstrike, freezing as she heard a hoarse yowl nearby. The PeakClan Medicine Cat Apprentice, looked around, expecting to see some cat racing towards them. But she could see nothing. There was no breeze blowing, anywhere really, so she couldn't sniff the air. "Stormstrike wait." She ordered, limping towards the direction which the voice had came from and squinting her round eyes. "Is anyone there?"

"Well an apprentice is a cat training to be a warrior- a cat who hunts and fights to protect their clans territory. Moss ball is just a game that we play," Rainpaw explained with a purr, giving Amber an unimpressed glance. That mouse was an easy catch, and she could have hunted for the others. She turned her gaze back to Ginger, "There are four apprentices in Copseclan, the clan im apart of," she explained, suddenly stiffening when she heard a faint, familiar voice. "Redpaw?" She called out uncertainly, standing up on all four paws, hissing in pain as her left leg had pressure put on it.

⇹ Amber stuck her tongue out mockingly as the young cat gave her a look of disapproval. Who cared about what a kit thought of her? Amber was the grown up here and for the most part, until she left, was in charge of the both of them. The small she-cat's ears pricked as she heard a yowl, followed by another one. "Great! More cats. All we need." She grumbled, rising to her paws and cleaning her face. I suppose its time for me to leave. "Come on you two, we've got to find Toshi now so we can leave." Despite how much she disliked being around a crowd, she had to make sure the two were okay.

- Redpaw -
He swore he heard a voice in response. He sped up, walking carefully in the direction of the sound with a slight limp, his head still pounding, until two shapes came into view. Thank StarClan, someone else is alive! One looked like they had the build of an OakClan warrior, and the other.. Was that a PeakClan cat..? He approached cautiously, staying a distance away from them. Surely he wouldn't have to worry about clan boundaries and rivalries at a time like this? " A-are you two clan cats...?" He asked quietly.
(Edit: I wasn't sure which one to reply to so I did the first one. Sorry ^^)
