Kaihime blinked. "You don't know about the Oda?" She made a face, shrugging. Eh, that was understandable, seeing as Meiko wasn't a traveler of any sort. And at least she didn't seem to be sided with them in any way. Still, Kai wanted to let Meiko know about them, just in case...
"Well, a clan is basically a large group of cats; around fifty or more. We have large sizes of territory, almost the size of an entire prefecture. The other Clans north of us have the same idea, although they are much, much larger, and even more populous. We don't really interact with them except for gatherings, when we all gather at a certain are and discuss the latest news."
The Ragdoll sat on her haunches, already bored of standing up. "Now, the Oda Clan is one of the seven clans north of us. They're cold-blooded killers with an intent to rule our forest and beyond. Their leader is a cat named Nobunaga Oda, and he's as dangerous as they come." She held up a paw, a reassuring look in her eyes. "But...you really shouldn't worry much; they live high up in the smoky mountains, way beyond here. I don't think they'll set paw in our land anytime soon." "I see." Meiko said, nodding her head as she listened. She realized something. "Are you...a clan cat?" |

Kaihime smiled slightly, patting Hayakawa's shoulder with a hefty brown paw. Both females nodded. "Yep, both of us are. We're originally from one of the northern groups, though."

Every once in a while, she would glance back to the chiryoushi's den in worry. She didn't have a clue as to what was going on in there, but she figured that Tarou had a dilemma. She hadn't seen him exhibit odd behavior today, so she wondered desperately...what was wrong with the boy?

A interminable minute passed, where, in within said interval, Tarou's eyelids slid over his glimmering ocular devices. With this, he leaned into Izumi's velvety fell, seeming to repose thoroughly at the warmth of her pelage.
After a while, as he gathered up his scattered sentiments, he leaned back upright position, breathing a long inspire out of his his lungs. His voice was cracked, as if his throat was parched, but he spoke, all the same. "I...I didn't tell you because I didn't want you to feel guilty. I also didn't want you to think I was questioning your persona or your rules. I guess I was just scared to admit to you. I'm sorry too, for not telling you." He looked up at her in slight wonder as he leaned back into her plush fur; she had most likely gone through the same ordeal as he, so it made his glad that he had someone to relate to. His labials parted as he started to speak about this subject, but another voice abruptly interjected his vocables.
"Tarou-kun..."
Almost instantly, nut-brown shells picked up the unequivocal majesty of Lady Akiko's mellifluous tone. Cervix twisting around to glance at the den's egress, the shadow falling upon his small physique darkened considerably as he eyed the streamlined, svelte figure of the daimyo standing rigid in front of the natural yellow light. Her imposing physiognomy, although shaded, held great unease and concern.
Padding forward by means of delicate treads, she traversed over to where the healer and his student were lying. Thew bunched as her lims lowered in a crouch beside the striped masculine, the Siamese's cadmiums immediately widened as she performed a brief scrutinization of his lachrymose features. She shook her imposing capitulum and sighed, shoulders slumping. "Ohh."
A delicate forepaw stretched towards his face wiping away the strands of dried drops on his dampened face. He sniffled once more, looking more like a kitten betwixt the two females. "Do cease your crying, child." Her locutions were not uttered in the irked or disappointed sense, rather they were...consoling and maternal, a recherché occurrence for her.
Still, she had heard their entire colloquy, not out of eavesdropping, but because of her unusual worry for young Tarou. He had been on her mind recently, and she was not sure exactly why this was so, but this piqued her interest beyond whats he imagined. "You are not a failure. I know that you'll grow up to be a great healer one day, just like Lady Izumi. So do not stress yourself over something so trivial. Keep trying, and I assure you, the gods will respect you for doing so."
She...she heard me? As slightly irritated as he was after realizing that Lady Akiko had listened in on their confabulation, the vexed notion evanesced fairly quickly. Only a sliver of hope glimmered in his mind, and with this, he began to feel at peace once again. As Akiko fleetingly pressed her labials against his temple, and his frame rested protectively against Izumi's, he only felt a strong sense of reassurance.
He would be fine. As long as he continued to try.( I FINALLY FINISHED THIS HHHHH )

( I think I'll put this RP on a small hiatus for a while, just until I have a chance to get back to it. No, my muse isn't low, and no, I'm not leaving this Clan to die. In fact, I REALLY feel like skipping over to the next day right now. But just hang tight, everyone; I just want to make sure that everyone is here to participate for it. I probably won't RP until Mystic returns, which I don't know when. But unfortunately, we'll just have to move to the next day if no one else returns. )
( Another thing - I just have to say this just so everyone understands what's expected of them - I also noticed that a few of you have wavering activity. No, I don't know if you have no way of notifying me about it. And I completely understand if you are busy or have school, but that excuse is only enough for an absence of 1-2 days at a time. SakuraClan is a serious roleplay; therefore I expect you to be serious about roleplaying here.
If you are so busy so as to be away for 4+ days, then you are too busy for this roleplay. If you miss 1 or 2 days for real life activities, that's fine. But when you come back, you are expected to come on at least every other day and post at least three roleplay posts. One post every four days isn't going to cut it. Like I said to Dolce and Eris: If you are too busy in real life, then you may need to consider leaving or at least taking a short break. When I tell you to fix your activity, I mean you need to actually fix them. Not apologize or say you'll fix them; but actually fix them.
I'm very sorry if I sound picky or extremely rude here, just making sure. ;~; )

I mean, sure, we've gotten this far into the RP, but I feel as if this Clan isn't as big as it should be. I added an actual joining page, although...too late, and no one new even bothered to even join. The layout doesn't look as appealing, I guess, and I realized that I don't even have a rules list, herbs, or anything extra.
I know that this is all up to me, but I need your honest opinions on this! ;~; )

[I honestly don't see anything wrong with the layout, but if you want to change it, then that's fine.
As for remaking the Clan, well, if you see it necessary, then by all means, do it. Honestly, I think it would help. So I say yes, do it.]

Also I believe that maybe a fresh start would be good due to the amount of people whom have left, perhaps allowing us to start with a clean slate?
