(rats, possibly, like from firestars quest (or journey i forget the title right now lol), a small lone dog, or maybe a rabid fox. lmao any other ideas?)
TwistedBreeze nodded, and leaned close to the deputy. "circle around that way" the tom indicated to the right side with his tail. "ill go left." he suggested, hoping to allow one of them to get a drop on whatever it was.

Lilyheart nodded. She took her side and pinned her ears and fluffed her pelt. She looked more like a harmless puff ball, but she was ready to do some damage.

TwistedBreeze stalked to the left, keep his ears pricked for any noises that may alert them to more of whatever this thing was. the eyes followed twistedbreeze, then lilyheart, and suddenly there was a skittering noise. the eyes disappeared, and twistedbreeze paused before flicking his tail and taking off after the creature, or creatures. he had to know what it was, he couldnt return to camp without knowing.

Lilyheart took off after TwistedBreeze. Her heart longer to be back at camp, safe and basking in the sunlight, but she knew somewhere in her heart that she had to follow him.

TwistedBreeze heard the pawsteps of his deputy behind him, and in the back of his mind wished she had gone back to camp. but he was glad to have the backup, no matter how much he hated to admit it. as he followed the creatures, they led towards an abandoned twoleg place that sat a little bit away from all of the clans borders, including the neighboring clans, orchardclan and pheonixclan. as the tom skidded to a stop near the edge of the clearing, he saw a large rat scrambling into a hole. "really? its been a rat, this whole time?" the tom growled, flexing his claws.

"Careful what you wish for. Rats nest in groups," she mewed, eyeing the hole. "Maybe we should inspect it... See how big the problem is. I feel that it is also a problem for the neighboring Clans," she reasoned. She flicked her tail and sniffed the entrance. The she-cat backed away, scrunching up her nose. "Smells awful. Like crowfood."

Raingaze padded out of the DiamondClan camp with Basilwhisker and headed into the forest. She tasted the air for any scent of prey. "I smell a thrush and a mouse," Raingaze said.

Hailstorm was laying in a patch of sunlight enjoying the warmth of it through his fur. He rolled over to let his other side warm up when something sharp poked him in the side. He jumped and let out a small yelp of pain to find a thorn now stuck in his side. It wasn't too far in so he shook it out with ease and began licking the spot where it had poked him. He decided that since he was up now anyways he might as well do something so he went off in search of something to do.

Sagewhisker sat in the medicine cat's den, carefully grooming herself after a long day of herb-picking and sorting herbs. She then got up to stretch her legs and padded inside of then den in circles just to get a bit of excersise. She sat down again, checking the herb stocks to make sure there wasn't too little of anything,

( Peanutella) "thats true" TwistedBreeze agreed, and stepped forward, nosing around the structure. it seemed like there were multiple entrances, and exits. "i think we'll have to block up all but the main entrance. leave them only one way in or out" he suggested, thinking of how best to handle this. |

Lilyheart nodded. She began to fill in one of the holes with surrounding sticks and dirt. "It will take longer for them to get out." She mewed, scraping more dirt into the hole.

"exactly" TwistedBreeze agreed. using his paws like big shovels, he piles dirt into a nearby hole, blocking it up and then covering it with a large stone from nearby. "if we can, cover the filled in dirt with a rock. so even if they burrow into the dirt, theyll still be trapped"

Her paws tread lightly. She certainly was happy to have finally found out what was bothering TwistedBreeze.

TwistedBreeze took the stone and placed it over the second hole he filled in. he hoped that with the two of them working together, theyd be able to cover all the ways in or out in no time. he wanted to teach these rats a lesson.

Raingaze snuck around while following the scent of the thrush. "I'll try to find the thrush. You can hunt for the mouse if you want," Raingaze said, looking back towards Basilwhisker.

After Basilwhisker had replied, Raingaze went back to tracking the scent of the thrush. She continued to follow the bird's scent until she saw it, near a tree. Raingaze stalked her prey until she was just a couple of taillengths away. Then, she pounced and landed a blow on the thrush and killed it with a bite to the neck. She picked up her catch and padded back to the spot where she and Basilwhisker had split up, waiting for him to return.
