Foxwillow looks at her kits the first born kit was a white she cat with black ears the second kit a dark tabby tom with a white paw and last kit a black tom "I think the white she kit should be Winterkit"

Blizzardheart paced. He kept murmuring, "I'm a father," over and over again. He was excited, but also nervous. The tom pinned his ears and went inside the warrior's den. His mind raced with excitement.

(Yeah. Lilyheart and TwistedBreeze are out hunting, Blizzardheart and Foxwillow just welcomed new kits into the world, and I think the rest of us are either hunting or on patrol... I don't really think anybody is in camp right now except Blizzardheart.... Foxwillow is sleeping.)

"Yeah, I guess I've been hunting," Pebblebrook replied. "I just started, though, so I haven't caught anything yet."

Graypaw walked past the camp's entrance and headed towards the forest. It's a beautiful day out, he thought to himself, taking in his surroundings.

"Sure," said Raingaze. She then spotted her brother, who was heading toward the camp's entrance. Raingaze turned to look at him. "Would you like to go on an outing with Emberdawn and I?" she asked.
Graypaw turned around at the sound of his sister's voice. "Sure," he replied, padding over to the two she-cats.

Pebblebrook shrugged. "A little," he said. "I'm not very good at it yet. I usually just go after land prey instead."
"Hi, Greypaw," Emberdawn said, greeting the apprentice. She started to walk out of camp and glanced behind to make sure the others were following.

Graypaw turned towards Emberdawn. "Hello," he meowed. As Emberdawn headed out of camp, Graypaw followed closely behind.
Raingaze followed Emberdawn and Graypaw as they padded out of camp. She sped up her pace a little, so that she could catch up to her brother. She was happy to be with him on this outing.

Sagewhisker sat in her den, organizing herbs after a day of herb-picking. She put them in their right places and worked to be bottom of the pile. Once it was completely done, she let out a sigh of relief and brushed off the ground that was covered with fragments of shrivelled and dried herbs.

Emberdawn continued walking. She realized that she was just wandering around aimlessly, with no destination in mind. "Where do you two want to go?" She asked.
"Same here," Pebblebrook agreed with a purr of laughter. "That's why I usually stick to the animals drinking water from the stream and not the ones actually in it." |
