TwistedBreeze chuckled, and crouched down. giving a flick of his tail as a signal, he bolted towards the camp, letting his legs carry him quickly across the ground. his heart raced as he raced against lilyheart. he was happy that she was playful like this. he may seem serious, but he did have a fun side to him.

Lilyheart's legs flew out from under her. Pure joy came upon her as they ran, partly because of running, but mostly because of the one who ran beside her. She wanted to speed up, but her mind was dead set on staying beside TwistedBreeze. She wondered what could make her feel like this, but when the realization came upon her, she almost fell flat on her face. She regained balance quickly, and kept running.

TwistedBreeze purred as he noticed that the she-cat stayed by his side. that action made him happier then maybe it should have. but it made him happy because it showed him that she felt the same about him as he did about her. as the pair reached the entrance to the camp, the warrior skidded to a stop, and flicked his tail gently, thrilled.

Lilyheart ducked through the camp entrance and waited for TwistedBreeze in the camp. She sprinted over to the med-cats den, setting the rat down and going back to TwistedBreeze. She smiled softly, glad to have the rat out of her mouth. "So what do we do now?" She asked, and sputtered a little, "I-I mean uh... what do you want.. to do now...."

TwistedBreeze followed lilyheart to the medicine cat's den, and added the rats he was carrying to hers. "actually, i was wondering if we could talk? i have something i want to say" he meowed, meeting the she-cats eyes and purring softly. she seemed nervous, and he hoped that he wasnt the reason why. at least, not in a bad way.

Lilyheart nodded. "Of course... I actually wanted to talk to you," she meted, smiling widely. I hope he wants to talk to me about feelings..... She thought, her heart leaping around the territory once more. She began purring uncontrollably, but it was quiet so she wasn't too embarrassed.

TwistedBreeze ducked his head, and led the way to a quiet corner of the camp, so they would not be disturbed. "LilyHeart. i know that you are the deputy. and as the deputy you have responsibilities that come before your own wants and needs. but if i dont tell you this, i wont be able to help myself." the scarred tom took a deep breath, and licked his chest fur for a moment. "i wanted to tell you that i really really enjoyed spending time with you today. and i think that, in that time, ive developed feelings for you. i dont want to be just friends, lilyheart. to be honest, i want to be more." he paused, to catch his breath and to steady himself. he waited to see her reaction before continuing.

Lilyheart smiled and nuzzled TwistedBreeze. "I feel the same way," she mewed. "Actually, I've had a little crush on you for a while... but I never acted on it because of what you just said. I thought that being deputy came with never being able to like anybody. So I just remained by myself. And, I would like to become more. If you want to, that is..." She added, ducking. Her tail flicked with nervousness.

"i would love to become more" TwistedBreeze purred, and nuzzled into lilyheart. he was thrilled that she felt the same way about him, and was even more happy that she wanted to be his mate. "im glad you feel the same way about me. i never thought id find someone who looked past... well, saw past my scars" he explained, purring contently.

Permanent Scars are only on the surface, and the scars on your heart can be healed." She mewed, smiling. She licked TwistedBreeze's cheek and purred a little louder. "Let's get something to eat, then take a nap." She mowed.

TwistedBreeze purred louder, and nodded at LilyHeart's words. "thats very sweet of you to say" he meowed, licking her forehead gently. getting to his paws, he waits for his new mate to do the same before padding over to the fresh kill pile. he looked for something that they could share.

Lilyheart licked his forehead, smiling like a goofball. *Internal freaking out* Lilyheart thought, her heart returned from racing around and she sat down and began cleaning her pelt. Glad we finally got that out in the open... but now I have him.. all I could ever ask for, she thought, laying down and resting her head on he paws.

TwistedBreeze picked out a rabbit for them to share, and padded over to LilyHeart, setting it down in front of her. with another purr, the tom layed down, and took a bite of the rabbit. with a gentle nudge, he pushed the rabbit closer to his mate, so she wouldnt have to move as much from her spot, as she looked like she was comfortable

"You're too kind," she mewed, taking a bite of the rabbit. She swallowed and put her head on her paws. "I'm happy," she chirped, curling her tail around herself. She lifted her head to take another bite, and afterwards she pushed it back over to TwistedBreeze.

"so am i" TwistedBreeze mewed. he took a couple more bites of the rabbit, before nudging it back to his mate. they continued like that for awhile, until there wasnt much left. glancing at lilyheart, the tom paused. "are you full?" he asked, not wanting to take it away if she was still hungry.

"No, but I'm beyond tired at this point." She mewed, nudging the rabbit back over to TwistedBreeze. "Feel free to finish this off, but I'm tired. I'm gonna go take a nap in the den."
She padded off, and ducked into the warrior's den, thinking, it has been a successful day... and falling asleep quickly.

TwistedBreeze finished off the rabbit, and stretched. giving himself a quick grooming, he padded into the warriors den, and over to his mate. being careful not to disturb lilyheart, he moved his nest over next to hers, and lay down beside her, cuddling up to her. im glad today went so well he thought as he drifted off to sleep.

Lilyheart drifted into her most common dream, a dream where she had a family and no worries. TwistedBreeze was there, so was her little brother. She was happy, with the two she wanted most of all with her. Peace was in the territory and there were no threats. She was at her happiest, but knowing it was a dream, she wanted to stay there.

TwistedBreeze dreamed as well, letting his body relax. he saw a family for once. something he had not experienced in a long time. with a sigh, he drifted deeper into the dream. LilyHeart was there, and they had kits. the sight made him purr.

Lilyheart woke up after a while of napping. She nearly jumped out of her skin when she saw TwistedBreeze beside her, but relaxed upon remembering they were mates now. She curled close to him, wondering about their future. "Good times are ahead, I can feel it." She thought, cleaning her paws and swiping them over her ears.

TwistedBreeze continued to doze, and when he felt LilyHeart curl up closer to him, he let out a sigh. he was content, and happy. it had been such a long time since he had felt this happy. and he was more than excited to have a future with LilyHeart.

Lilyheart nuzzled TwistedBreeze. "Morning, sunshine." She teased. "Wanna go on a border patrol before the sun gets too low?" She asked as she stared out of the entrance, guessing it was nearly sundown.

"id love that. we'll see if anyone else wants to go?" he suggested, wanting to spend time with his new mate while at the same time knowing that it shouldnt be just two of them on a border patrol. |

TwistedBreeze padded out of the den, and twined his tail with LilyHeart's when he reached her side. "cmon. before it gets too dark" the tom comments, nudging his mate forward playfully. with a nod to basilwhisker, he padding alongside the deputy.

Lilyheart ducked out of the camp entrance and began making the way to the Southern border. "How do you guys think the Clan is running so far?" She asked them, looking around and opening her mouth to drink the scent of the forest.
