"Thanks," Graypaw replied, not having much to say. Graypaw continued to pad next to Basilwhisker. He felt that they should get back to camp before it got dark.

Graypaw followed the squirrel's scent and soon saw it under a tree. Graypaw crouched, carefully stalking the prey, and then he pounced. Once he saw he had caught the squirrel, he swiftly killed it with a bite to the neck.

(it's fine I'm sewing pieces of a crocheted blanket together so I'm busy either way)
Basilwhisker didn't give the rabbit time to squeal before he bit it's neck. He headed back to where he fought Graypaw would be.

"Yes," Graypaw meowed, his voice a bit muffled through the squirrel's fur. Graypaw knew that it would be getting dark soon, and he wanted to head back to camp before dusk.

After dropping his prey onto the fresh-kill pile, Graypaw started to pad around the camp, not having much else to do.
Raingaze woke up to the bright rays of the setting sun. She padded out of her den and stretched. It's almost dusk, she realized, looking up at the sky.

Raingaze saw her brother, Graypaw, padding around the camp. He looked bored, so Raingaze padded up to him. "How have you been?" she asked.
Graypaw stopped in place as his sister padded up to him. "Not bad," he replied, "I went on a walk with Basilwhisker,"
"That sounds nice," Raingaze answered, "Today seemed like the perfect day for a walk. Anyways, do you want to join me for a snack?" she asked.
"I guess," Graypaw replied, shrugging. The two siblings padded to the fresh-kill pile and sat dawn to eat. Raingaze picked out a mouse which she shared with Graypaw.

Basilwhisker thought about asking Graypaw if he had told his sister about his dream but looked at him and decided against it he didn't want to cause trouble so he nodded and chewed thoughtfully.

Raingaze turned back to the mouse she and Graypaw were eating. She took a couple more bites before declaring that she was done eating.
As soon as Raingaze declared that she was done eating, Graypaw finished the rest of the mouse.
