"Well, you could just leave." Emeraldsky mewed, trying to keep his cool. "But if you return, the next cat who finds you won't leave you unscathed, that I can promise you."

This could be bad, Emeraldsky thought. "Wrong way!" he yowled, chasing after the rogue once again.

He's still going?! Emeraldsky was close to panicking. He had no choice but to keep running and hopefully catch up before the rogue reached camp or harmed someone.

Emeraldsky rushed in after the rogue and stopped beside him, hissing "This is our camp, and you need to leave now, who knows what the clan will do when they see a rogue in our camp!"

"Follow me, before a fight breaks out" Emeraldsky hissed and tried to creep out of the camp, hoping nobody would notice.

Emeraldsky looked back, seeing that the rogue wasn't following him. Guilt washed over him. He was supposed to defend his clan's territory, not chase a rogue straight into camp! It was too late though, he could see his clan members stir up at the sight of a stranger in camp. What should I do? he thought. He padded back to stand at the rogue's side. "There'll be trouble now." He growled.

"...sorry" Emeraldsky whispered to the rogue. "Everyone, I've brought a visitor!" Emeraldsky announced, hoping that an upbeat demeanor would settle his clanmate's hostilities.

Emeraldsky glanced at the rogue. Couldn't he see that he was in danger? At least he wasn't being aggressive. "This is...um, what's your name?" He asked the rogue.

I'm going to be in so much trouble for this. Emeraldsky thought. Imagine what Orchardstar will say when she hears! "Right, this is Shade, and he's here to...learn about our clan life!!" He mewed, making up stuff to hopefully appease the clan.

This is bad. Emeraldsky's tail swished angrily. "Right, it is. I should've clawed your whiskers off the moment I saw you." He spat.

Emeraldsky could see he was getting nowhere with Shade. His loyalties lied with Orchardclan anyway. "Hey you," he growled. "You're gonna have to leave now, or we'll have no choice but to drive you out."

"Err... no thank you," Shade replied coolly. "I think I might stay here a bit, maybe even sleep in one of those nice-looking dens, and then go when I please."

Who does this guy think he is? Emeraldsky thought. "That's not how it works here, bud." he growled, swishing his tail in frustration. "Only members of Orchardclan can stay. Unless you're going to join us." he scoffed sarcastically.

"Well for one, companionship. Loyalty. Safety in numbers. Nothing a mangy flee-bitten rogue like yourself would understand!" Emeraldsky scoffed again. (I don't like being mean )
