( Winterwillow Okay! ) "It's okay, Dawnlight. Everyone gets hurt sometimes," Echodawn told her friend. She understood what the calico cat was saying; Echodawn herself didn't like being unable to help the Clan due to an injury or illness. "Can you walk back to camp, or do you want me to bring Snakepounce here?" I hope she can walk. If she can't she must have gotten hurt really badly. Thornheart watched as Willowleap brought him the grey mouse she had caught. He noticed how proud she was and felt happy that she had caught something. He had felt a little bad when he had caught that mouse but she had missed the squirrel that she had went after. "See, you're a great hunter," the reddish-brown tom meowed with a purr, something he hardly did around a cat he didn't know very well. He looked at the prey they had both caught. It was only two mice, but the Clan wasn't starving; there was enough prey on the fresh-kill pile for everyone to eat. Then again, more prey could never hurt. "Do you want to go to the sunning rocks now or continue hunting? Either one's fine with me." |

At first Lightningsong strained to get the fox moving but with the effort of all the cats it moved closer and closer to the edge of the territory.

OrchardStar and LightBringer, as well as the rest of the patrol, drags the fox all the way to the edge of the territory. Once outside the territory, OrchardStar pauses, and glances around for a place to hide it easily.

Thornshade grunts as he dragged the fox. He didn't realize just how heavy the creature really was until now.

( Hawkeyes258 Thanks! ) Echodawn nodded. She picked up her squirrel by the tail and started to head back to camp. I hope Dawnlight's okay. I know some head injuries can be really severe, cause memory loss, and affect you for the rest of your life. I really hope hers isn't that bad. She glanced back to make sure she was following. |

spotting a ditch, OrchardStar beckons towards it. "over there" she meows. taking hold of the fox again, she gives the order to move again with her tail. together, the patrol move it over to the ditch, and push the fox into it. "there. that should do. we'll keep patrols heavier on this side of the territory, in case something else decides to follow its trail" OrchardStar explained.
LightBringer nodded, and padded back towards the clan territory. she desperately to wash the scent of the fox off. it made her nose sting, and she growled quietly. eventually, she takes off, bounding away towards the waterfall, to clean off.

Dawnlight kept walking with Echodawn. She managed not to stumble and wasn't sure if she had focused enough to ignore it or if the dizziness was subsiding.
Lightningsong spat as he let go of the fox. He would never be able to get that horrible taste out of his mouth. He would hopefully be checking the border himself a few times. Seeif the foxes what to mess with them then.

Echodawn continued walking, glancing behind every now and then to make sure Dawnlight was okay. She eventually reached the camp, immediately looking around for Snakepounce. She found the medicine cat talking with Ravenstrike. Echodawn walked up to them. "Snakepounce, it's important. Dawnlight hit her head on a tree. I'm not sure how serious the injury is." |

Dawnlight followed Echodawn sadly after she dropped the fresh-kill in the pile. She wasn't ready to possibly be told that she would have to sit around for days on end.

(good morning guys! has anyone heard from jinx or thomas lately? it looks like we will need them for a bit)
OrchardStar padded back towards the camp, leading her patrol back as well. she was happy to be rid of the fox, and she was surprisingly able to ignore the foul smell and taste of the creature. her mind wandered for a bit, and she let her paws carry her home.
LightBringer plunged into the icy water of the waterfalls pool. ducking her head under, she paddled her way over to the thundering waterfall. surfacing, the she cat let the water pound down on her back, washing away the scent of the foul creature.

Lightningsong walked back towards camp and thought about hunting then he realized the Fox's scent would probably alert the prey of his presence well before he could see it.

DarkHeart didn't follow them to the kill. DarkHeart stayed behind to make sure the clan's home would be safe. As DarkHeart went to go lay down, he thought of her mate. It made DarkHeart smiled. Thinking about LightBringer, DarkHeart ran off too LightBringer to join her.

OrchardStar went back to camp, and set about cleaning herself, hoping to get the scent off of her pelt. as she cleans herself, she keeps an eye out on the rest of the clan, to make sure everything is okay. no one seemed to be injured, there were no arguments going on, nothing.
LightBringer stays under the waterfall for a few minutes before paddling over to the side of the pool, and getting out. there, she shakes as much water off as she can, using her tongue to put any stray hairs back in place.

Lightningsong flopped down at the edge of the camp and lamented to himself about never being able to get the stench off of himself before he began to clean himself meticulously.
Dawnlight looked around. She was starting to get very dizzy again. She played down hoping to make it at for at least a little while hoping Snakepounce would be there soon.

OrchardStar got her pelt clean, and stood up, going to check on the medicine cat's stock of herbs and plants. as she pads through camp, she gives quiet greetings to her clanmates. For now, all seemed quiet. which was good. she was hoping to see some more apprentices training soon.

(morning all)
LightBringer padded back towards camp, keeping an eye out for any nearby prey that she could bring back with her. along the way, she runs into her mate, DarkHeart
OrchardStar poked her nose into the medicine cats den, and glanced around to see if SnakePounce was there. There was no sign of the tom cat, but she figured he was somewhere nearby.

Snakepounce lifted his head from the small banter with Ravenstrike and listened intently to the concerned she-cat, then nodded in agreement and heaved himself to his paws, prey forgotten. He immediately entered his den to retrieve some Celandine, an herb to ease pain(without one become tired), and gestured to Echodawn for her to lead the way.

Echodawn glanced back at Dawnlight. "Come on," she said, "Snakepounce is going to help you." She stepped aside so that the injured cat could have a clearer path to the medicine den. She knew her friend was feeling dizzy so the less obstacles in her way, the better. |
