(I proposed for Pinestep to mentor Rook but that decision is up to him! Jaggedcloud could take him on if Thistle is okay with it, too.
Also, Thistle, what the heck is Fallenbark doing in the Hall of Ancestors? When did he come in???
Oh, and guys--alert me if I'm being super controlling. Sorry if I am--I am in no way in control of this RP--I just get crazy into organizing stuff)

Owl looked up to see Petalheart he backed up slightly to stand behind the protective she-cat.He flicked his tail nervously watching Sandstripe.There were different emotions swirling about him, but as a priest their job cane first. Owl gingerly nudged Petalheart as he offered a gentle smile to the herbalist."Well you did come to the right place for guidance and we will gladly lend a helping paw."
I don't mind Hailstrike being Rue mentor.Its fine with me ))

((Okay I gotta make some lists to keep track of all this but I will add the changes to the character page asap! Let me know if I missed anything roleplay-wise; sorry for my slowness lately! I might be dropping down to one or two posts a day because the semester's about to start, but I'll do everything I can to keep this going because this is the most fun I've had in a rp in a LONG time......not since the Rainstone Incident of 2010))

Sandstripe faltered. She had always thought the priests were wise and calm--she didn't realize they could be so hostile. Does Petalheart already know something? Wait . . . isn't she Maplefall's sister? She sighed and met the other she-cat's gaze.
"I guess I should just come out and say it. But before I do, remember that the royal family holds a lot of trust in me--they won't believe you if you try to pass this on to them." She herself wasn't entirely sure that was true, anymore, but she wanted to discourage them as much as she could from trying. "I am the one who poisoned the king. I did it because he is in no state to rule. We all know it, but I was the only one who was willing to do what needed to be done. I thought it would be peaceful. I thought his brother would step down quietly, and Dewfern would either step up or a new leader would take her place. But that isn't what happened at all. And now everyone will be punished. I don't know what to do." That was a lie--she knew exactly what the right thing to do was. She just wanted someone to say that she didn't have to do it.

Hearing the words spill out from the herbalist mouth left him utterly speechless. Owl stared bugged eyed at Sandstripe then at Petalheart. He hardly noticed his mouth was hanging wide open in shock. There was still hope for Sandstripe if she could come forward telling the truth everyone would be spared. Then again she was someone close to the royal family. Owl uneasily glanced over at Petalheart having dreading feeling she wasn't going to take Sandstripe's confessional well.Owl briefly closed his eyes to say a quick prayer to the ancestors asking them to forgive the herbalist.He mumbled something under his breathe to cleanse his soul after hearing her confession.
College is important though so no worries!))

Duskstorm bowed his head to Thunderheart, then neatly tucked his paws underneath his body again to settle down and patiently keep vigil over the king. He glanced sideways at Dewfern, then away again, back to Thunderheart. 'How are your wounds from the attack?' He politely asked.

"So it was you," Petalheart murmured. She felt oddly calm about the confession--she would've expected herself to throw a temper tantrum. "And now every cat has to pay for it for your misdeed." She narrowed her eyes at Sandstripe. "You know what you have to do. You have to come forward and admit your wrongdoing! The cats of this castle are innocent. Condemning them to die at the paws of Thunderheart--who, I'm pretty sure, is going to crack sooner rather than later--is immoral. You'll have to live with that for the rest of your life."

Oak paced back and forth in front of the Rat's Nest, feeling his heartbeat speed up and slow down erratically. He wasn't sure if this was what being nervous felt like, or if it was some odd side effect of smelling this much rat, or if he was slowly going crazy or nearing a seizure or--
"Er, lovely--um--weather we've been having. The hunters have been happy, besides the fox attack and all." He floundered for a topic and winced. Weather? Really? That's the most pathetic topic ever.

Maplefall made her way up to the tower where Thunderheart was, pausing before she went inside. Obviously she wasn't in the mood to chat right now--especially not with that slime-brained mouse in a snake's gullet--but if she could stop the rats from getting out, she supposed a few minutes' chat wouldn't be lethal. She padded inside, narrowing her eyes as she saw not only Thunderheart but Duskstorm, the king, and a she-cat she didn't reco--it was the princess.
"Hmph," she mewed, finding proper words not exactly the first thing on her mind. "So it seems this 'meeting with the herbalists' turned into the 'meeting with the herbalists, Duskstorm, a suddenly existent princess, and a half-dead king.'" She padded to Stoneheart's side and squinted at him. "So you used yarrow, Duskstorm?"

(Should Sunpetal go to the Rat's Nest or not, since she's expecting? I'm not sure if I want her to be there or if that would cause too many problems with fighting)

'Oak, sit down.' Fox murmured, she and her mentor relatively calm and simply sitting/lying in their places in front of the stones, unperturbed by the excited rats scrabbling behind them and patiently waiting for something to happen.
'You're being erratically annoying.' She added, glancing at him from the corner of her eye. 'If you're nervous, come lie next to me and take some of my warmth. Calm yourself down.' She moved her tail away from her body as an invite for him to lie at her side.

Duskstorm nervously stood and stepped slightly in front of Stoneheart, keeping true to his word that he was here to keep vigil.
'Yes, I did.' He said, tail twitching slightly with agitation. 'I'm keeping an eye on any changes. He's brought up most of what he ate and so there isn't much poison left in his system. I have cleaned him up as best I can.'
The handsome black oriental sat down in front of the king to block him from anymore prying cats, anxiously starting to clean one of his paws; a habit he seemed to have.
