Mooncloud didn't have time to protest as Littlestar walked away. She sighed before started to head over to Snowheart but stopped when she heard the yowl and bolted towards Littlestar," Littlestar! Littlestar can you hear me?" Mooncloud panicked and looked up at Featherstorm," Go get the medicine cat! Quickly!"

"Good job," Stoneheart praised, tasting the air. She could smell the hawk as well, it was quite strong. "I smell it, too," she said, glancing cautiously at Blacknose. "Should we track it down?" If we can kill a hawk, the clan may not go hungry today after all.

Featherstorm looked at Littlestar with fear in her eyes. She ran to the medicine den. "Petalnose! Come quick! Littlestar fell on her shoulder and she won't wake up!" Featherstorm's eyes were wild. She hated seeing her leader get hurt. Howlfang got out of her nest as she heard a yowl. Her old bones were affected by the cold. "I should just move into the elder's den," she grouched. Padding out of the den, she saw chaos. Littlestar was on the ground with blood around her shoulder, and Mooncloud was leaning over her. She scanned the clearing for Petalnose and saw Featherstorm in the entrance to the medicine den. Berryleaf was staring sadly at the fresh-kill pile when Littlestar fainted. He rushed to Mooncloud's side. "What can I do to help?" he asked. He didn't want anything to happen to his leader, not during this cold, harsh leaf-bare. Lilypetal wandered outside, her pelt fluffing up in the cold. She meant to go ask Mooncloud if she was needed for a patrol, but the fresh-kill pile looked more tempting. However, she hardly got halfway when her gaze and thoughts swiveled to Littlestar. If her leader was in trouble, this was something her mind could hold onto. Lionpaw hustled outside, moving his paws even when he wasn't going anywhere. When he saw Littlestar fall, he pounded after Featherstorm to the Medicine den. "Petalnose," he called urgently. "Do you need help carrying anything?" Heatherpool stuck her head out of the nursery for a moment to see what all of the fuss was about. Littlestar is hurt? I'd better stay in here and keep watch over my kits. I don't want them to get in the way.Blacknose nodded in answer to Stoneheart. "It is tracking a mouse. If we can catch both, the Clan won't go hungry, and Littlestar won't have to skip her meal." he knew Littlestar was refusing to eat, and with this hawk, she wouldn't have to. Cinderpaw's eyes widened. "I've never tracked a hawk before," she meowed after setting down her prey. "what do we do?" what if it hurts me, or takes me away? I'm not exactly the biggest apprentice. |

Mooncloud paced back and forth next to her leader. She looked over at Berryleap," Go get her some water for when she wakes up." The deputy nodded to the tom.
Skypaw woke with a jolt once he heard all the noise. Trotting out of the den his eyes widened at the sight of Littlestar on the ground.
Poppypaw darted over to her mentor and looked up at Mooncloud," Will she be okay? Do you want me to do anything? " She quickly asked but Mooncloud just shook her head and silenced the apprentice.
Whiteberry watched Lionpaw run to help as he stayed back, knowing crowding Littlestar wouldn't be good. He gave a quick glance towards the nursery before sitting down near Snowheart, who was watching the scene unfold with sad eyes.

Hmm, if Crimson is alright with it, maybe Stoneheart? I know one of her cats already has an apprentice, but what is better than giving apprentices who are littermates to warriors who are littermates?  ) Berryleap nodded. "Poppypaw!" he called to the apprentice. "why don't you come with me?" He wanted to make sure Poppypaw was doing something. It wouldn't take her mind off of Litterstar, but at least it will make her feel like she is doing something to help. Featherstorm took one look at Lionpaw and snorted. "No way. Go and get out of the way. We don't want you getting under a cat's paws." she cocked her head in a slightly sassy way before turning back to the entrance. "Petalnose, hurry!" Lionpaw heard Featherstorm and decided she didn't need any help. Instead, he saw Skypaw coming out of the apprentice's den. "Skypaw, over here!" Lionpaw called to his friend. He liked talking to Skypaw, and felt better seeing him. |

Stoneheart nodded in agreement. "This hunt may turn out better than originally thought," she purred. She glanced over at Cinderpaw. Would it be a good idea to help against the hawk? I don't want her to get hurt. "Well first we need to find out where it is."

Skypaw heard his name and padded over to Lionpaw." Hey Lionpaw. Sad to hear about Littlestar.."The apprentice trailed off while looking at their leader.
Larkpaw couldn't sleep with everything happening so she decided to get up. She trotted out of the den and over to the two toms." Goodmorning Lionpaw,morning Skypaw" She purred softly before sitting down next to Lionpaw. "Littlestar must of passed out from not eating." She added to Skypaw's comment.
Whiteberry decided to head over to the nursery and check on Heatherpool and the kits. He wanted to make sure Heatherpool was doing okay , he knew the clan didn't need anymore cats fainting.

Hawkpaw groomed his messy pelt clustering with tangles and fluffs flowing all over him. He looked to see if Poppypaw was here, but he couldn't find her earlier. He started walking around camp looking to find something the do. Walking over to the fresh-kill pile, Hawkpaw grabbed a brown lifeless mouse. He sat down before gnawing on its soft, but yet delicious, flesh.

Berryleap entered a cave where he was sure he heard running water. Luck was on his side; a small pool was filling up with water trickling down the back of the rocks. He turned to Poppypaw. "Find some moss. I'm sure there is some around here."
Lionpaw nodded. "I hope she'll be alright. Poppypaw would be devastated if something happened to her mentor." He laid his head on his paws, his tail flicking up off the ground. "Leaf-bare is the worst."

"this lead-bare has effected us all." Skypaw nodded at Lionpaw and glanced at Larkpaw.
Larkpaw just nodded and moved slightly closer to Lionpaw as a cold breeze past by. She ruffled up her fur against the wind and felt a tinge of jealousy at Lionpaws concern for her sister.
