Webtalon nodded before he looked up at the sun. Just before he could check the time, he got an eyeful of it's radiant beams, and recoiled. "Ah... I did it again," he grumbled, rubbing his eyes. "I think we should head back. It's getting a bit late." He pointed the the setting sun with his tail.

Heatherstripe giggled quietly once again and said, "Alright Webtalon, let's go." The deputy anyhow wanted to go back to camp cause she was a bit hot from the heat of the sun hitting her flank constantly.

Webtalon padded back to camp with the deputy, reviewing his afternoon. It had turned out to be far more fun than he initially thought. Perhaps it wouldn't be so bad to just be himself around cats. But he would consider it more on another day. "This was fun," he added with a smile as they neared the campsite.

Following Webtalon, Heatherstripe once again smiled and purred in a sweet voice, "Yes it was." The deputy saw camp up ahead and was ready to see her leader to perhaps talk.

Webtalon smiled before turning his head to see Oakenstar. He realized Heatherstripe was padding toward him, so Webtalon decided he would chat with the leader too. Perhaps Oakenstar was a good conversationalist too. "Hello Oakenstar," he mewed quietly as bowed his head slightly in a greeting.

Heatherstripe shook her head and mewed,"No, no you could stay along, we just finished actually Oakstar." The deputy smiled to him with her dark blue eyes focused on the leader.

Webtalon gave him what he hoped was an inviting smile. "Yeah, we were just talking," he mewed. He let his tail swish across the ground as he stood before the leader. He hadn't woken up that day thinking he would be buddy-buddy with the two most important cats he knew. He never did know what to expect.
