Ebonystar sighed, her clan was in ruins her clan had grown sick and many of her clan was sick many passed luckily Minx the kits and her haven't gotten sick but Adder was sick but getting better and her mother was getting worse and they lost her medicine cat.

Scorchmark paced back and forth in front of the nursery. He looked ragged like he hadn't eaten in a while. Over the past moon he had started to develop feelings for Minx though he was to afraid to tell now. Now the thought of losing her and the kits scared him to death. Moving around helped him to think.
Ripplestar bounded into her camp. "Ebonystar?" He called out to her. His owls had told him about what was going down in Briarclan.

She padded out of the den looking at her mate, "Ripplestar. Why are you here?" She purred waddling up to him. Minx followed her leader closely as the four kits followed after her.

"Swamp fever... alot of cats have passed because of it. The swamp is running low and the crocs aren't laying this moon its hard to hunt just fish and birds." She nuzzled his neck. "Most warriors are safe but Redmoon and the older warriors aren't able to fight the fever off."

"Yes, the kits need to bew away from the disease. And with our medicine cat no longer with us we don't have the ability to fight it off with potions, Hawkfeather managed to catch it too i fear others will get sick." She sighed looking at her almost deserted clan. "As leader I need to stay here"

Ripplestar slowly nodded his head. He didn't know how his clanmates will handle it but he couldn't turn away kits. "Okay if your sure." He turned to look at Minx and Scorchmark. "You are welcomed in my clan."

(Question would you accept them in the clan to maybe get others there more interested in this clan?)

Ripplestar kept a calm composure though he was worried about his mate. He didn't want to lose her or the kits.
Scorchmark moves closer to Minx and her little ones. He wasn't going to let the Brambleclan cats harm her.

Minx turned to the leader's mate, "Say something! She cant stay within the sickness, your her mate speak your mind!" She snapped her eyes serious and filled with determination.

Minx growled and shook her head, "Toms..." she rolled her eyes "If she doesn't go then im not going and the kits go where i go. Ebonystar you are family first then my leader, if you wont do it for your mate do it for your unborn kits."
The shecat weavered at that, but she was honor bound to stay. Then again she was to be a mother and her kits were the future of the clan.
Adder watched from behind Ripplestar silent as a shadow he listened to what was happening, he unlike most cats couldn't seem to catch Swamp fever for unknown reasons but stayed away due to Tricklestones recent outbursts.

"Ebonystar, you once considered me for deputy and as your brother I ask you to go and leave me here with the ill and protect your unborn kits. Plus the owls are kind and will transport messages between us." He said looking at her expectantly, "Ripplestar take her to your clan have her protected from this disease.
