Aloe walked along the water with Sandy close to his side. I thought they would stay on their side of the island... He thought. Aloe knew what the scent at the boulder was though. After all, it was a tiger that killed his mother for betraying the pride. Now Aloe was an outcast, half wildcat and half regular cat. He didn't belong anywhere, until now. Walking with Sandy made him happy, something he hadent felt for moons. Anyway, if the wild cats are here we should be careful... He thought. I better tell Sandy what's going on. "hey, uh... Let's go over here..." he said pointing to a bush with his tail tip.

Ember looked at the spotted cat. Maybe if we wound him we can escape... She thought. She lunged at him, but at the last moment swerved to the side and came up behind him. Ember found her opponents ear and bit down on it. Swiftly, she jumped back and started to run away while he was in pain. She scrambled up a tree and got onto a branch. From there she planned to make her escape. Ember looked back to search for the black she cat.

Boulder tumbled off the black and white Tom. He sat up and looked at him in awe. "what's a dog?" he asked curiously. He had never seen one as he had been born on the island. Unlike the others, who had told him tales of distant lands in which they came from. He remembered his mothers story of a deep and green rainforest where she was born. Of course, Boulder had no idea what half of the things she told him about were. Still, he listened to the older cats stories with great inerest.

Sherr rolled her eyes at Cobra as he walked away with the small cat in his jaws. Gah... What a bore. She thought. All she wanted was a little fun... Sherr looked around at her surroundings. Surely there is something to do... She thought. Ahhhh! Everythings so boring! I guess I'll just head back to camp then. Right after I do a little hunting though...

Leaf dosed lazily in a tree overhanging the prides camp. He was suppose to watching Boulder and the camp while the others were gone. Instead though, he had fallen asleep and let the tiger cub leave. He woke up with a start when he heard the heavy footfalls of Cobra. Leaf opened his eyes and looked down as Cobra passed by underneath him. It lookes like he has some prey, Leaf thought. But, why is he walking over to the tunnels and not the fresh kill pile...? Suddenly he realized that Boulder wasn't anywhere to be seen. Ah fox doung! He thought, how did I manage to let him out of my sight! Whatever. He's probably fine anyways. "hey Cobra!" he yelled down dismissing Boulder from his thoughts, "catch anything good?"

(no problem kat) Sandy stopped "Why? i like it it the open much better" she asked puzzled by Aloe why hide in a bush she thought "is there something wrong?" she questioned him, are we in danger her worried thoughts making her look around for danger she could hear something in the distance like a yowl of pain... --- Scat yowled in pain wincing in agony "You will pay!" he said turning to see she was gone,he snarled sniffing the air for her scent.he got a faint whiff of the scent above he smirked "Trying to hide from a wildcat in the trees? your more foolish than i thought you were" he meowed climbing the tree slowly and stealthy.he felt bad for her but the thought of what Cobra would do too him if he failed kept him going Just a little more he though as he inched closer clinging to the rough bark. --- Badger huffed "They are big tan and sleek with sharp fangs for chewing cats bare bones!" he said making them sound stronger than that were by quite a bit "Those are just the ones we call fangs the others can be even worse,their blood curdling howls can be heard from island lengths away...." he added surprised an relived there were none here though he could hear the distant sounds of sea eagles in the distance. --- Cobra greeted Leaf his second in command "Yes got one of the intruders here,i'm gonna throw it in the pit soon" he meowed giving Cinnamon to Night,the panther grabbed the cat and nodded gratefully too Cobra "So hows boulder going?" he asked wondering how the small tiger was going,Python the other tiger had made Cobra take him in feeling cobra was like kin too him,Cobra didn't want Pyton falling out of line so he let Boulder stay in the Pride. |

Aloe hurried hushed sandy quickly and pulled her under a bush. "listen," he whispered, "we arent safe here. This island has two parts. Theres my part, which we are on, and there is the wild cats part. My mother was a wild cat, a European wild cat to be precise. My mother however, made the terrible decision to have a regular cat as a mate. I am their kit, half wild cat and half regular cat. My parents and siblings were killed by the wild cats for their betrayal. I however managed to survive and came to live on this part of the island where the wild cats don't live. The wild cats have a vicious leader though, Cobra would do anything just to rule the island. I believe he has moved his territory over and is now trying to hunt me down and kill me." he looked at Sandy with urgent eyes. This was no mere joke, they were in extreme danger.

Boulder looked at the Tom with huge eyes filled with curiosity. "woah..." he said in awe, "you really took down a beast like that?"

"Boulder? Oh, right. Boulder sorta, um... Well he left." leaf stuttered. There was no way he was going to tell cobra he had let his guard down and fell asleep. "I'm sure he's fine, boulders big enough to look after himself a little."

Ember clutched onto the tree branch and looked down at the forest floor below. I have to jump... She thought, the only way she was going to even have a chance of getting away from the large cat was by leaping from branch to branch and making it to the river. From there she would go downstream in the water. She hoped the large cat would think she fell in and drown. She gripped the branch and prepared to leap. Think of Cinnamon... She thought and with a new courage leaped to the next tree. The branch wobbled under her wate when she landed on it. Ember looked back behind her to check and see if her persuer was following her but could see no sign of him. Good, she thought, I better get to the river before he catches up. She leaped to the next tree without a hint of fear and before she knew it she was tremendous progress. Finally Ember had reached a tree that was overhanging the river. This is it, she thought. All that was left was for her to jump down into the water. Her plan had seemed so clear in her mind, but now fear struck her as she looked down into the swirling current below. The branch below her begain to moan and dip under Ember's wate. Before she knew it, both her and the branch were in the water. Ember gasped for air, but instead inhaled water. Her plan had gone terribly wrong...

Sandy knew it was alot too take in...wildcats? Cobra? "How big are the wildcats? how many of them are there?" she asked it was scary too know that such tyrants lived on this beautiful island "Why don't they take your side of the island?" she asked hoping the load questions didn't make Aloe uncomfortable. it must be hard too have his family killed at least i don't know if they are dead or not.

Badger did a heroic pose "of course that beast didn't stand a chance" he said with arrogance he showed him a dog tooth he had put on one of his claws,"look this was its smallest fang the rest were to giant to attach" he showed boulder the big fang claw it had dried dog blood still on it.

Cobra snarled "YOU JUST LET HIM WALK OFF,YOU FOOL!" he roared his showing his giant fangs,he couldn't let Boulder leave if he allied with one of the new cats he would be a major threat to Cobras rule "Leaf if you dare show such stupidly again i will throw your bones in the pit my self" he said walking off to eat.

Scat followed running his long legs and knowledge of the jungle island got him too the river quickly,he stopped to see the cat drowning what a fool! he thought diving into the river,Ocelots were swift swimmers which helped him catch her by the scruff,he pulled her out of the river,he coughed up some of the water and picked her up again she was heavy as he carried her towards the prides home "Foxdung i'm late!" he said.

"I'm sorry I didn't tell you earlier," Aloe said hanging his head in shame."the wild cats range from twice the size of a regular cat, to the size of a boulder." he continued. He should have told Sany sooner. "Im not exactly sure how many big cats there are," he said, "but they don't usually come to this part of the island because The wind blows in from the north, making this place smell like salt. The wild cats have sensitive noses and can't stand the salt, but it seems Cobra would sacrifice comfort for power."

Boulder looked at the tooth in awe. How had he managed to meet such a heroic cat? "hey, whats your name?" he asked, full of curiosity. He wanted to know who this mysterious cat was. He's so cool... Boulder thought.

Leaf got up in a hurry and jumped down from the tree. It wasn't wise to make Cobra angry. Cobra was much bigger than Leaf and could esily hurt him. I guess I better go find Boulder then... He thought as he stretched his back out. Leaf started out into the forest, it was going to be a pain to find the tiger cub in the big forest.

Sandy was amazed "Boulder size they must be huge!" she said now knowing why most of the big prey was hard too find,he can't live in fear of wildcats,someday he must stand up too them she thought "What if they come over here?" she asked hoping he didn't mind more questions thrown at him,

"Names Badger after the most vicious of mainland animals" he saw the Tiger as clay that needed to be molded into a Street wise cat like him "I could teach you a few things,if you can handle the challenge" he said admiring how cool he was Nobody is more epic than the great badger!

Scat could see Cobra sitting on his throne like rock "Hm another one for the pit" he commented seeing Scat struggle with the cats weight amused him,Scat dropped Ember in the pit,she wouldn't die yet the pit was coated with leaves that got blown in there from countless leaf-falls "have fun with your puny friend down there" he said soon they would starve with only a few moles in there to eat,though he doubted that Cobra wouldn't go down there to eat them later.

Aloe gave Sandy a Solemn look. If the wild cats came over, we'd be in heaps of trouble he thought. "honestly, if I'm correct about this we're in some real danger..." Aloe started. "the wild cats given their size, could do some serious damage. Especially if their motives are more than just casual hunting, if they have set out to rid themselves of us they could do it quite quickly..." he looked over at Sandy. I hope she's ok... He thought. Im telling her so much in such short notice...

Boulder was astonished at the toms offer. "really? You would teach me?" the black and white Tom was so cool! One day I'm gonna be like him, Boulder thought. But... What would the others say...? surely they wouldn't approve of him talking to this strange cat... Nevertheless Boulder's urge to learn from him outweighed his loyalties to the pride. The others don't even like me... He thought, but Badger could teach me so much! I really think he sees my potential! Boulder had made up his mind, he was going to betray the pride where his father had been killed, and try for a new life with Badger.

Leaf padded past Scat, throwing a downcast look full of resentment. I don't know how he can even call himself a part of our pride. He thought almost aloud. "runt..." he mumbled under his breath once Scat was out of earshot. Leaf stepped through the green curtain of leaves covering the entrance to the prides camp. he had to admit, he wasn't to fond of life in the pride. Everyone in camp was always either on edge or boring. The only thing Leaf had ever received as Cobras second in command was more work. Cobra himself was starting to get on his nerves too. All he ever does is boss us around like worms, he thought. Yes, Leaf was beginning to resent life in the pride.

((I was thinking about how the regular cats stand pretty much no chance against the wild cats, so if it's ok with you could Leaf and Boulder gradually form alliances with them? I think it would make it get interesting. Also sorry for not posting yesterday, had to do some late night homework.))

Sandy didn't like the idea of facing up too the wild cats,"what are you going to do if they decide to take over this side of the island too?" she asked Sandy felt bad for Aloe his parents didn't deserve what they got..."How is a group run by fear still staying together?" maybe the fact that if they left the group they couldn't leave the island so they would always have a chance of running into old allies.

Badger smiled "Someone needs too teach you how to be a legendary hero like me" he thought of what too teach his new student first..."Hmm how about hiding a Champion needs to have stealth" he showed him a hunting crouch that could also be used as a tactic for hiding "And then you pounce on your enemy after you've learned their secrets or made sure they are alone!" he said showing his high flying pounce,"Now you try it" he mewed turning to the Tiger.

Scat growled quietly he held back his anger by remembering what Cobra said too Leaf "he is the weakest of his breed and still larger and higher ranking than me!" he muttered under his breath he remembered Cobras plan too kill Boulder soon he said it was too big a threat too have two tigers.
(Sure It would even the ground a bit,scat might join too,it's already school holidays for me so i don't have any homework and exams are done.)
