"I'd be willing to join a patrol" said Toadstrike, hearing their conversation from across camp. "That sounds great" mewed Fernwillow, happy for the help, "I think that's enough cats, unless anyone else wants to join we should get on our way."

Frogleap nodded in agreement, her tail twitching excitedly. "Where would you both like to go?" she asked, running her tongue over her paws as she cleaned the remains of her meal from her muzzle.

"There's a nice clearing not far from camp, I'm sure there'll be prey there," mewed Fernwillow, in response, "Is that okay with you, Toadstrike?" "Yeah, it's fine as long as we can get out of camp, there's too much activity here," he grunted before getting up and shaking out his fur. "If we're all agreed we can get going now," she said. As the patrol walked out of camp, she took in all of the smells of their territory, "I love living out here. The sun feels so nice, it makes me want to just lay down and sunbathe all day."

Lynxpaw nodded, seeing her pick more leaves. He started to pad after her after camp. He was slightly glad that he was done with the medicine business, and that she would possibly get her own apprentice. Though, he was glad that he was able to spend time with a clanmate.

Honeylight sniffed. She knew Lynxpaw wouldn't like being a medicine cat, and she was glad she had Foxpaw. But It was nice to spend time with a cat other than her apprentice and her sister. Honeylight wondered what Russetsong was up to. Perhaps she will be willing to catch up later.
(Is there anywhere Russetsong can jump in?)

Frogleap nodded in agreement as they moved further from the camp, opening her mouth slightly to taste the air for any nearby prey. She quickened her pace a bit to keep up with the other two warriors, giving her pelt a little shake as she felt the sun warming her fur.

Fernwillow noticed the pale brown she-cat smell for prey and decide to do the same. She scented a lizard and started stalking towards the smell. She waited until she was very close to the sunbathing reptile before pouncing onto the rock it was resting on and killing it with a bite to the back of its neck. "Nice catch," commented Toadstrike, his voice muffled by the giant jackrabbit in his jaws. "Wow, that thing's huge! That could feed us for weeks," she mewed in amazement. "I wouldn't say week, Fernwillow, although I appreciate the praise," he chuckled, "Let's go check on Frogleap, we'll bring this back with whatever she has."

Frogleap dropped into a hunting crouch at the sound of rustling in the bushes to her left. She crept forward slowly, keeping her body low to the ground as a large squirrel came into view over the crest of a small hill. Bunching her muscles, the tabby she-cat leaped from the grass, landing just behind the squirrel and sending it running for the nearest tree. She followed, trapping it against the trunk of the tree it was attempting to escape into and killing it quickly. Picking up her catch, she scented the air for Toadstrike and Fernwillow.

Fernwillow saw Frogleap with a squirrel in her jaws nearby, and ran towards her. "Nice catch she shouted as her and Toadstrike neared. "As you can see, Toadstrike got one of the largest jackrabbits of all time, but he would never admit that, would he?" "Ah, always giving praise huh, Fernwillow," chuckled Toadstrike in amusement. "I suppose we should get back to camp," he declared. "Yeah, I'd like to go see what the rest of our clanmates are doing," mewed Fernwillow as she trotted off with Toadstrike.

Frogleap purred in appreciation at Fernwillow's compliment as she trotted through the bushes after them. The tabby and white she-cat chuckled with amusement at her Clanmates' conversation as she followed them towards the camp, happy to spend some time outside in the fresh air.

As the patrol arrived back to camp, Toadstrike headed towards the warriors den to catch up on sleep and hope to avoid anymore attention for his catch, while Fernwillow sat down by the fresh-kill pile and groomed herself.
