Swoopkit nodded. "If be the oldest kit, then," He remarked, a gleam of pride flashing in his eyes. His voice dipped lower, a purr rumbling in his chest. "I'll be in charge of the nursery!" (Sorry for the short post) ( tuckercat --cool; lets do it, then! And as far as ideas...I'm not sure. Maybe we could have them meet for some games and things? The biggest issue, in my opinion, is that each of us will be rping tons of kits, so that could be difficult) Nightrose padded over to the unfamiliar she-cat, dipping her head in greeting. "Lavenderkit? She's right over there," She purred, pointing with her tail to where the she-kit sat, chatting idly with a few friends. "My name is Nightrose, if you need anything. Good luck!" ((I will ask some of my workers for ideas about this too if you don't mind. rping a lot of kits shouldn't be to difficult as long as they don't all talk at once.)) "Thanks Nightrose! I am Willowstep by the way." She padded over to the kit but not to close so as not to frighten her. "Hi there! Might you be Lavenderkit?" |

Swoopkit shook his head in mock-disappointment. "I thought as much. I bet I can get some of the warriors to teach me early, though!" He decided proudly. ( tuckercat--Sounds good  ) Lavenderkit cocked her head, smiling at the stranger. "That's me!" She chirped, waving her tail in greeting. "Who are you?" |

"Oh, hats good," Swoopkit replied, sheathing his claws. He was slightly disappointed at the lack of battle training, but he rebounded quickly. "What about hunting practice? You must hunt in your clan, right?" He remarked hopefully.

"Yes we hunt all the time. We still do some battle training though. We have a lot of cats that need fed so we have many hunting patrols out at once." Snowdapple said happily.

(Thanks! By the way, I'm going on vacation starting tonight, so my replies may take a bit longer for the next week and a half depending on the wifi situation)
"You should teach me," Swoopkit decided somewhat bluntly. "I already know the basics—hunting crouches and everything—so it should be easy." He tilted his head, his limp ear flapping slightly.

Lavenderkit's eyes brightened. "Yeah, sure!" She purred, bidding a quick farewell to her friends and padding a few steps away before settling down. "You work at an adoption center too?" She inquired.

"I do. Its called glowing paws." She purred. "Me and my son and daughter live there along with my brother and sister. I work as a caregiver." Willowstep looked back at the kits Lavenderkit had left behind. "I hope I wasn't interrupting anything important."

"Oh, not at all," Lavenderkit replied, waving off the concern with a cheeky flick of her tail. "We we're just gossiping. What's your family like?" She added.
Swoopkit nodded, puffing out his chest pridefully as he stepped back and dropped into his best hunting crouch. His form in itself was almost impeccable, he was sure--he had spent hours perfecting it--but he struggled to stay still and balanced. The grumpy tom let out a low hiss, hoping his companions wouldn't notice but knowing they probably would.

Willowstep smiled at the kit's friendly tone. "Well My sister is a medicine cat named Nightsong. She can act like she is bad tempered but she really is one of the sweetest cats you'll meet. My brother is Stormwatcher and he is a guard at the center. My children I adopted when they were just kits from a kit cave like this one. They are both apprentices now named Moonpaw and Sunpaw."

Swoopkit let out a faint chuckle at Basilwhisker's comment, then spread his paws a bit farther apart to balance his weight. "Is this better?" He asked, ignoring the slight burn of effort in his legs. He let out a satisfied hiss as he felt his wobbling slow. "Hey, this feels better!"
"They all sound great!" Lavenderkit purred, her eyes sparkling. "I hope I get to meet them someday." She flicked her tail and shuffled her paws slightly. "What's your kit cave like?"

We have other animals besides cats there and we have our workers separated into jobs. Like guard, prey hunter, styler, rescuer, and care givers. We have medicine cats too but ours can have mates and kits if they want. We live in a big cave system with water that flows through it. The water has something in it that makes it glow and when you play in it it makes your fur glow for a little bit, that's where we got the name of it from." |

Swoopkit, blossoming at all of the praise, lashed his tail cockily and nodded to Basilwhisker, not reigning to take his attention away from his stance to reply. He fixed his eyes on the pebble, crouching low, and then threw himself forward suddenly, letting out a yowl as his claws clamped down on the pebble. Though the movement set it skittering, he quickly pounced again and trapped the rock under his claws. "Got it!" He puffed, pride flashing in his eyes.
"Glowing fur..." Lavenderkit mused as she took in all of the details. "Wow! And I've always wanted to meet other kinds of animals!" The she-kit tilted her delicate head, fluttering her dove-white wings slightly as she shifted. "Can they talk to us?"

"I know you're excited but you need to calm down. If you would have focused more and and pushed hard off your haunches then you would have landed on top of the pebble. You're yowl could end up scaring any nearby prey away too. But you have great enthusiasm." Snowdapple said trying to not sound too harsh.
(Yikes that sounds like it will hurt way more than I want it to. )

A white she-cat with silver tabby stripes stood at the entrance of the Caring Hearts Kit Cave. As she peeked in she noticed many kits along with some older cats. Slowly, she took a step into the cave. "Hello?" She meowed, trying to get the attention of a worker.

Swoopkit blushed under his fur and stepped back from the pebble, "I was focused," He mumbled, trying to feign perfection though he knew he had slipped up. "It's the pebble's fault." Still, he stepped back and--quietly this time--leaped for the pebble, landing squarely on top of it and digging in with his claws.
Nightrose looked up at the sound of an unfamiliar voice, her eyes lighting up. "Hello!" She purred, bustling over and greeting the she-cat with a wave of her tail. "Welcome to Caring Hearts!" She purred. "I'm Nightrose. Would you like to meet one of the kits?"
"Wow!" Lavenderkit purred, her eyes sparkling with amazement, then blushed pink at the compliment. "Thank you!" She purred, shuffling them a bit more and twisting around in an attempt to see them. "I'm not too good at flying yet, but I'll figure it out someday," She chuckled. "Does your cave have winged kits?"
