Smudgekit nodded, his eyes wide and dark as he took in the grave story. "Okay," He replied finally, taking a deep breath before shaking out the stillness that had settled over his limbs as he patiently listened. His tail flicked occasionally, and he dug his claws deeper into the moss-covered stones to keep himself from toppling. The tale was a sad one, indeed, but Ravenstar had promised that the darker aspects of the trade were gone, and he was the type to believe unless given a reason not to. "It's just a tradition, then?" He squeaked mildly. "That's not as bad as I thought."

"Good," Smudgekit purred in response, his tail waving contentedly. At Ravenstar's caution, he chuckled slightly and debated scrambling a few steps higher to prove he could hold on, but he decided against it. "I really would like to see your clan," He purred, turning his innocent gaze away from the wall and back to Ravenstar. "Do you think I could...I mean, do you think I could go with you?"

"If you wish to join, Smudgekit, I would be delighted to lead you back to the clan. There are few kits right now, but my -- our clanmates, would be glad to have you join us." She mewed. "I would enjoy your company as well." |

Smudgekit's face lit up, and he grinned widely. "Good!" He purred, his tail waving with excitement. As carefully as he could, he scooted along the stone with his claws until he was close enough to give Ravenstar an affectionate nuzzle. "That sounds perfect." "Great," Smudgekit purred, growling slightly with concentration as he began his descent down the rocky wall—going down had always been harder than going up. Still, he managed to make it to the ground safely and gave a cheerful little bounce as he waited for Ravenstar to follow. "A long road just gives you more time to tell me everything—I want to be an expert by the time we get there!" He purred. "I can't wait to see it!" |

"Just Nightrose, I think," Smudgekit replied quietly—he was a bit of a loner when it came to adopters, so most of his friends had left the cave before he had. Catching sight of the dark-furred caretaker, however, he began to trot over, flicking his tail for Ravenstar to follow. "We should tell her that we're leaving," He purred.

As long as they're not stealing from here, kit-stealers are totally fine c: ) Vixenkit let out a hiss as Snowswirl picked her up, and she thrashed as violently as she could. "Put me down!" She hissed, squirming, with half of her attention still fixed on the strange and fascinating 'den' in front of her. "Alright! Here, we may find some kittypets in this one- I can smell them!" Snowswirl's eyes lit up with a blaze, one almost to intense to look at, sheer excitement raw. |

hello. do you need more workers? i could also add some more kits to the mix, or adopt one or two into my clan. but they would have to come with someone to roleplay them, as i cant do many more characters on my own in orchardclan. (i do orchardstar, which is obviously the leader, lightbringer, a queen with 4 kits of her own, and one adopted kit, duskpelt, a warrior, and oceankit, and blossomkit, both daughters of lightbringer. also if anyone is interested, we actually are looking for an active deputy! lol. anyways..) let me know if you need any more help! |

OrchardStar poked her head into the den, and glanced around. there were many kits around, as she had expected. but she noticed one kit sitting off by himself, batting at a fern. curious, the she cat padded over. "hello little one" she meowed in greeting.

Basilwhisker walks in with a new She-cat, she is white with gray spots ringed in black, it is easy to tell she is with kits. "Hi," he says "I was asked to bring Snowdapple here to adopt a kit for her clan. She would like to see Swoopkit."

Nightrose lifted her head at the sound of someone entering and hastily padded over to the new pair. "Hello," She purred, inclining her head politely to them. "That sounds wonderful. Swoopkit is right over there—though be warned, he can be a bit...grumpy sometimes," She added in a whisper, flicking her tail to where Swoopkit sat alone in a small corner between two rocks. "But he'll warm up to you for sure—good luck," She purred.
