Rainpaw glanced upwards for a split second. He had seen Adderfang's fur bristle,
and even though it had only been for a split second, it worried him. Slightly intimidated
by the larger cat, he shifted his eyes back towards the ground, avoiding contact. "I-I'm
very sorry I disturbed you," the young cats voice was barely above a whisper. "I was
just moving around to warm up, and I slipped on a rock. I-" He was interrupted by a
few coughs, but he quickly recovered. "I'll be more careful next time."

[Still editing. I think to make it easier, I'll just add a plot section. I know it's not the most organized thing to do after I opened, but I didn't think it'd be as hard to see about the plot. I'll take the blame on that obviously.]
[What in the world happened to this post? xD It not only erased half of it, but italicized the other half. Anyways. I just do neutral, you can use the template I'm using. I didn't notice it matched the layout until now. Good job, Rain.
[[ I mean I have a personal post template for my characters, but it looks weird on the themes with long widths [e.g wcrpf (old)], I have it set to 70% so mobile users can see it too, although I haven't tested what it looks like on mobile, so I'm just assuming mobile users can see it

Squirrelstar | 40 Moons | Mid-Morning | Camp Squirrelstar felt a stab of disappointment, and looked away. "I don't really have much to do with all the patrols out." she thought to herself. However, Adderfang's request perked her up, pleasing the she-cat. "Certainly! I don't mind." Squirrelstar began to gather them in her jaws, being as gentle as possible. Suddenly, she heard the collision and swiftly turned to see Rainpaw and Adderfang scrambling themselves together. She watched the two, then padded off to deposit the herbs. Re-entering the camp, she stood beside Rainpaw. "Are you alright?" she inquired, searching his pelt for any scratches. "The rocks can be slick and sharp." She commented as she sniffed the young cat. She remembered Adderfang's words, his tone a little harsh in her opinion. She leaned in and whispered to Rainpaw. The leader's breath was hot in contrast to the air. "If you're not busy, helping us may put him in a better mood. You don't have to, but he may appreciate it."
Swiftcreek | 46 Moons | Mid-Morning | Camp "Mosskit and Otterkit are fine names." Swiftcreek responded. Tilting his head as he pondered more names. "Rowankit would be nice as well, but it's always been a name I liked." He meowed, facing his head towards her. "Have you felt them move? I remember my mother saying that before Ashpaw and Rabbitkit were born. Of course it could have been Rabbitkit more than Ashpaw. He's a bit of a scaredy-mouse." The gray tom was attempting to be funny, but he wasn't quite sure it'd make Minnowpounce laugh. "I wonder if Adderfang tell how many there are." he pondered out loud.

Ashpaw | 11 Moons | Mid-Morning | Forest Scrambling down a tree, Ashpaw whined and whimpered the whole descent. He was almost there when he lost his footing and fell out of the tree. He landed with a hard "thump" and groaned in pain. Slowly, he started to get up, wincing in pain and cursing himself, the tree, and the bird he was trying to catch. Jumping at the sound of a crow being scared off, Ashpaw's eyes widened in terror. The gray tom smoothed his fur flat. He opened his jaws, hoping to catch a whiff of any kind of prey nearby. Ashpaw shut his mouth turning towards the direction of the twolegplace. He stepped forward with his right paw and instantly regretted it. He fell again, giving another groan. "I hate hunting patrols!" he hissed under his breath. "I probably landed on it wrong." The tom leaned on his left side, taking most of the weight off of his front right. The tom began to limp towards the direction he smelled a familiar smell. "Maybe Palebird is done for now as well." he hoped, wanting to go back to camp. |

Adderfang shrugged, meeting her cheerful gaze. "Well if your sure." He forced a light smile for Squirrelstar, turning his attention back to Rainpaw. Guilt ran through Adderfang, causing his fur to prickle when he had picked up on Squirrelstar whispering something to Rainpaw briefly. "Of course there is plenty to do." He scoffed in annoyance, although a touch of sarcasm and playfulness laced the tom's voice. He ran his tongue over his fangs, opening his jaws briefly in a yawn before stretching each individual leg. "Help would be appreciated, but I wouldn't want to scare Rainpaw anymore than I already do." Scoffing mildly, the tom glanced at Rainpaw, fur still prickling in guilt although he couldn't push himself to say he was sorry, instead he dipped his head to Squirrelstar before padding into the low overhang of the medicine cat den towards where Grasswhisker lay.

I know I'm carrying more than one but I can only feel one kicking." She turned her attention back to the tom. "I'm sure i'm just over worrying." Her purr stopped abruptly.

Palebird: The trees rustled softly overhead as Palebird silently wandered about the territory. Her gentle amber gaze darted to and fro as she searched for any sign of life that could be lurking in the shadows. Parting her jaws, the warrior flicked the tip of her tail in delight when she scented the sweet aroma of a thrush in a nearby area. Her eyes scanned the clearing as she searched for her prey, crouching low and slinking forward. It took a moment, but she finally laid her eyes upon the juicy morsel, swiping her tongue across her jaws as she thought of its delicate flesh. Unsheathing her claws, Palebird remained frozen, awaiting the perfect moment to strike -- until a loud thud interrupted her peaceful hunt. The bird made a disturbed call and flew up into the branches, leaving Palebird staring after it in dismay. Grunting in annoyance, the warrior turned and went to the sound of the thud, forcing herself to remain calm. "Ashpaw?" she called with her delicate voice, spotting the injured apprentice easily. Any emotion of annoyance she once had was gone at the sight of him. "Are you alright?" she called, trotting over toward the sulking tom.

Rainpaw had nodded when Squirrelstar had whispered her advice to him. To be honest,
he was nervous around her. She was the clan leader, after all. But when Adderfang spoke,
he took a deep breath and forced himself to seem calm. Did he really seem that scared?
Rainpaw hoped he hadn't offended him. "I.. " He wasn't really sure what to say. He wanted
make up for bumping into him, and for possibly offending him, but he had already walked off.
"I'm fine with helping you. I.. I'm not scared by you," He lied quietly,although Rainpaw was
pretty sure Adderfang hadn't heard him. He had actually been scared, and the feeling
was beginning to wear off, however, Rainpaw didn't actually mind helping him. Doing
something might help warm him up.

Flintpaw -- Mid Morning -- Camp
Flintpaw laid with her back to the entrance of the den, curled up soundly in a ball. Despite her sleeping appearance, she was awake, trying to ignore the usual chatter of camp, unaware of what time it was, and even if she did it wasn't guaranteed she'd be out and about. Today her mood was gloomy and a sense of tiredness, yet restlessness was upon her. Unable to tune out the other cats, she lifted her head and turned it, only to be met with empty apprentices nest. With a long sigh, she slowly gathered herself to her paws, taking her time. Once standing she shook her pelt and made her way to the entrance. The bright light of the rising sun blinded her temporarily as her eyes adjusted. She padded over to the fresh kill, looking over her options.

Crowpaw was trying, and failing, to groom his fur in the wind. Sighing in
annoyance, he flicked his eyes upwards and caught sight of a white and
grey she-cat by the fresh-kill pile. Crowpaw stretched out his legs before
strutting over to towards her, puffing out his chest and sleek fur. He stared
at the pile for a moment, picking out a large blackbird, sliding over towards
Flintpaw and setting himself down. "Hey. You're up late," He said, cocking one
eyebrow.

Flintpaw was in a tired daze when the black apprentice walked over to her. She hardly even noticed when Crowpaw took a piece of prey. She jumped slightly at the sound of his voice, "What? Yeah, sorry, I'm still tired, I guess." She started grooming her paws, in slight embarressement. She looked over at the tom and mused at his slightly unkempt fur "What time did you wake up?" She inquried, based, since he mentioned how late it was. After asking, She picked a thrush from the pile and headed over to the side of camp, expecting Crowpaw to follow, not to overcrowd the fresh-kill pile, before plopping down on the ground, and began plucking feathers from the thrush's right wing.

Crowpaw's jaws parted in a yawn before picking up his crow and he following Flintpaw.
He settled himself near her once again as he shrugged and attempted to groom
his fur once again. " A little while ago. All the other apprentices are already up,
and Ashpaw's already gone on a hunting patrol," he yawned between
licks. He sighed in frustration as the wind blew his newly groomed
fur into a mess once again, and decided to work on his blackbird instead. "Sure
is windy today. Don't know how the patrol is going to manage this. I'm sure not
looking forward to going outside. It's sheltered here and we're still having problems,"
He exclaimed, pointing his tail towards the medicine cat den, where Adderfang
had been having trouble sorting the herbs earlier.
