((Time for a small announcement. Sorry for everyone who thought against this idea, but according to the poll above, all cat's will age ONE MOON on every MONDAY. Since today is a Monday, all cat's will age one moon. If you have a problem with this, please PM me. Flashpaw's pelt was itching, and she once again went to pacing, antsy. She wanted to leave the camp, but wasnt sure whether she could get in trouble without a warrior with her. She eventually decided that if she was going to leave, she'd at least make sure to stay near the camp. She cautiously padded out, a small purr escaping from her at the scent of prey.

(So, we also have quite a few apprentices that need mentors. Since the large amount, I'm going to let people volnterr their cats to be assigned to them. Basically just say which cat you would like to mentor, and which cat you'll use. After that I'll just fill it in here and on the main page.)

Hazelclaw frowned a little, wondering if Lostsong could take care of the kits by herself. The brown tabby was sure of her own abilities, and trusted herself to take care of any dangers that may appear. She never watched the former rogue fight...could she protect them?
Hazelclaw huffed and got back on her paws. She couldn't doubt her clanmates. "Okay, I'm coming. But we can't stray too far." Without waiting for Pebbleskip, she gave Lostsong a nod and started padding deeper into the woods.

Lostsong narrowed her eyes in Pebbleskip's direction when he gave her that pointed look, but she softened slightly at Hazelclaw's words. Nodding back, she settled herself beside the bush.
Once her two clanmates had padded away slightly, Lostsong cleared her throat and put her gaze to the bush. "H-hello? Kits? This is Lostsong... I'm going to protect you until your mommy comes back." She meowed kindly, not daring to put her face any closer to the bush.

Lostsong nodded her head slowly, daring to lean her head closer to the kits. "S-she m-might..." Lostsong meowed, her voice starting to shake. Their mother wasn't going to come back, she wasn't. These kits most likely have been abandoned... just like she had. They would grow up, not knowing their real mother.

Lostsong automatically shrank back, sliding backwards. "I d-don't exactly know. She m-might turn up soon t-though..." Lostsong slowly said, fighting back a few tears. She told herself not to get emotional about this situation... but she couldn't help but think of her mother, and how she heartlessly abandoned her.

It had been on moon, furzepaw was making a lot of progress he was a much better hunter than his mentor, however he still lacked the instinct of survival, he was trained in an easy age and he does not under stand disease, hunter and true combat. It's for the best poisonfox had always thought to himslef. "Well it's time to teach this apprentice some more battle moves." Even though furzepaw was a good fighter he could barely land a hit on poisonfox. " where are you?"

LórienJuniperfang - Juniperfang turned his head away from Sandpaw and started to seek prey himself. He kept his tail still and towards the ground as he kept his nose nearly dug into the ground. He sniffed a leaf, catching the stale scent of a mouse. He knew that the rodent was long gone; he certainly wouldn't have been able to find it. "Have you found anything?" His voice was still stiff.

Cherry finally stood up, stretching out her long legs and arching her back until satisfying cracks could be heard. Angrily, she fixed her round gaze on Lostsong. "How do you know Momma's coming back? You don't even know her!" Her voice was a high-pitched growl. The big, stupid adult was double the red she-cat's size, but that didn't stop her arrogance.

Sandpaw shook his head slightly, his nose to the ground as he continued to sniff for any scents of prey. Though he had caught several scents, none of them were fresh enough to successfully track down. But suddenly he caught a scent that made his nose wrinkle in disgust. "Mouse-dung!" He exclaimed, turning to Juniperfang. "I scent fox. It's fresh, probably from this morning."

Lostsong's face fell, and a small tear leaked from her eye. "W-well... momma's normally come back for their kits... but they don't always..." She meowed, her voice shaking again. It hurt to say the truth these young kits, but the small red kit had forced it out of her.

(Ok! I was just thinking about that since poisons character doesn't seem to think he is ready, but maybe he actually is? Idk it would be interesting to play out)
Minnow backed up a little, almost as if she where hiding behind her sister. She let out another cough, this one turning into a small fit, before looking up at Lostsong. Cherry was probably right, she always was anyways, at least in Minnows opinion. She glanced at her two other siblings, fur prickling slightly in nervousness.
"I guess it has been two days..." Minnow conceded, heart sinking at the thought of not seeing their mother. Admittedly, she never had much interest in them after their papa went away, and she always got upset when Minnow got sick because it slowed them down, but she was still their mama.

( I was thinking that sometime this week poisonfox falls or something and furzepaw saves his life , and he becomes a warrior. Poisonfox is scared to let furzepaw go in the "real world" he is scared that furzepaw will get hurt of worse so he is training him to the max)
( Also I will almost never be active on my PC but I check my phone every 30 mins to an hour so i will seem very poof)

Lostsong nodded sadly, gazing at the small black kit as she spoke. "Yeah... she's only hunting..." She said, trailing off as she focused her gaze on the two other kits in the small bush.

"I-I don't know, maybe... maybe..." Lostsong meowed, desperately trying to find an explanation. But any good cover-up for their mother's disappearance didn't come to her, and she was left with a frown while she thought. She longed to move closer to comfort the kit, but she knew that they didn't trust her, and all she would leave with would be tiny claws digging into her face.

Foxscar practically jumped out of his fur, jostled out of his thoughts by the loud she-cat. His eye was wide open, almost panicked at being caught so off guard, and it took a moment for his shock to fade. "Oh, uh, hi?" He greeted her, trying to keep an irritated tone out of his voice. Jeez, why don't you just give me a heart attack? "What's up?" "NOT MUCH." Pigeonflight said, looking around, "I JUST WANTED TO SAY HI. HI. DO YOU KNOW MY NAME? IT'S PIGEONFLIGHT." She smiled at him, her tail twitching. |
