Leafpool smiled back at Briarlight, and disappeared into her herb store, calling back, "Actually no. You're the only patient I got today." She plucked the leaves off of a dandelion, and carried them over to the black she-cat. "Here," Leafpool said, dropping the yellow leaves at her paws. "Just chew them up and you're good to go." She added.

The tom blushed feverishly, embarrassed that somebody had caught him playing with his food. "Uh, yeah, I- uhm- I guess I did?" He looked down at his paws, sweating and refusing to take his eyes off of his prey. "I-uh, I don't know whether it would be considered a, uhm...'nice one', though. Are we going on a scale of like, prey caught, or like...fighting scale?" He didn't even really know what he was saying at this point, he was just fumbling over his words like an idiot.

"That's still really cool, though! You must learn a lot, being cooped up in here all of the time. Does the smell ever get any better?" She laughed, joking. Well, sort of joking. Hollytuft wasn't joking about it smelling bad, though. What on earth did they mix up in here all the time to make it stink so bad, and who would dare to touch it, nevertheless crush it up in their own mouths? Medicine cats must all be insane. Hollytuft shook her head. Ridiculous.
When Leafpool mentioned her being the only patient, Hollytuft tilted her head in confusion. "Really? Wow, I guess none of the people from the fox attack have checked up with you yet," Hollytuft looked back towards the entrance of the den. "I hope they're okay. Maybe Jayfeather already had a look at them." |

โ -- Alderpaw waited for Hollytuft to leave, and then padded up nervously to Leafpool, looking down at his paws. "Um, I just wanted to ask you something. Something that I've always wanted to ask you and Bramblestar." He lifted his head, wishing he could just send his message through his mind to hers. "I-I want to become a medicine cat."

Cherryfall raised an eyebrow. "Scale?" She asked. "If it was on any scale, it would be the funny scale." Cherryfall snorted. "You could've just eaten a vole or something."
Leafpool nodded. "Sometimes it's hard to remember. The smell? I actually think it's a sweet smell. I like my den's smell." She answered. She shrugged. "Maybe he did."
Leafpool looked down at Alderpaw. "Y-you do? Did you tell your father yet?" She asked.

Briarlight nodded a thanks to Leafpool. After Hollytuft chewed up the leaves, slowly, she turned and dragged herself out of the medicine den to let Alderpaw speak with Leafpool. "You kind of get used to the scent after you stay there for a while," She continued the conversation.

Bramblestar waved his tail dismissivly to the nursery, he needed to think. He turned and padded towards the leaders den, pushing through the clump of lichen that hung over the entrance to his den.

Brackenfur was shocked to hear about a fox attack. Let alone a fox attack and Molewhisker's death. "Why is StarClan being so cruel?" the golden tabby questioned, beginning to make his way to the young tom's body. Sadness overtook Brackenfur as he solemnly touched noses to the once-lively tom. He'd had so much death in his life. Lionheart, Frostfur, Cinderpelt, Sorreltail, Molepaw, Seedpaw, Firestar, Hollyleaf. He couldn't take much more. Brackenfur then said, "May you find swift hunting, lots of prey, and peace wherever you go." Brackenfur began to choke up, and stepped back. He was too young. Poor Alderpaw.
{Stormcloud}-- {Outside Camp; Forest}-- {Blossomfall}--
Stormcloud loved Blossomfall's presence. He loved her more, though. Upon realisation of what had slipped he apologised. "Blossomfall," he sighed. "I'm so sorry. I know you don't like me like that- or at all. Sorry." The same odd feeling enveloped him. "Continue?" He suggested, awkwardly stepping forward to exit the camp. That was awkward. I can't believe I let that slip. Probably thinks I'm an idiot. He thought, shaking his head at the kittypet vocabulary. Mousebrain. Not idiot. Stormcloud paused to look back at a furiously flushing Blossomfall. "You're adorable when embarassed." He teased, sticking his tongue out. "I want someone to talk to. Since Bramblestar invited me to ThunderClan and I became well- Stormpaw, I was teased. All I want is someone to be able to talk to. That's why we're out in the forest." Stormcloud admitted, in response to her earlier question. When she brushed against him, he grew fuzzy. His heart melted. What is this feeling, so sudden and new? I felt the moment I laid eyes on you? L-love... I'm in love with Blossomfall. He realised, tail spiking in alarm. He nuzzled her cheek, smiling. I'm glad I love Blossomfall. Not Rosepetal or Cherryfall. He grimaced, remembering the first times he spoke to Cherryfall and Rosepetal. Poor Cherry- Stormcloud shook off any memories of them . "Will she be my mate?" He wondered aloud.

"Funny?" Snowbush considered this for a moment. Did he have a particular skill level in funny? He wasn't sure. It wasn't like he was cracking jokes all of the time. Maybe he should try it. He'd have to practice some 'jokes' on Jayfeather or something.
Snowbush's long white tail sweeped up behind him has he made a face, somewhat offended by Cherryfall's lack of faith in his prey choices. He quickly rushed to defend his pride. "Well, I mean, I sure. But then..." Wait. Why had he even gotten this stupid bird in the first place? She was right, there were lots of other choices from the fresh kill pile. He paused for a moment to find an excuse. "...would I have gotten to practice my brilliant...'funny' skills with a vole?" Yeah, he could roll with this. Snowbush, the king of humor. It had a nice ring to it.

"Sweet?" The black cat crinkled her nose. Yep, medicine cats were absolutely out of their minds.
Hollytuft turned her head towards the new cat in the room, blinking. "Wait, you can just, like, ask to become a medicine cat apprentice? It's not some weird Starclan choosing ceremony or something?" This was news to Hollytuft. If it was that simple, she wondered why more apprentices didn't want to volunteer for the job. Sure, it was a lot of work, but surely more people would want to do it than just a handful of cats. |

Cherryfall smirked. "No, unless you chose to pull all the fur off of the vole." She said. "You're funny either way." Cherryfall nodded. I should leave now. He already has a mate.The ginger she-cat smiled, and said, "I should go do something useful."
Leafpool shook her head. "They may ask, as long as the medicine cat and leader approves. But new apprentices must travel to the moonpool with their mentors at the end of each moon." Leafpool explained. "May I talk with him in private, please?"

Ivypool}-- {ThunderClan}--Ivypool wasn't fond of Molewhisker. He had tried to kill the former Dark Forest trainees with a fox. She folded her ears at that. I may get called to speak but I'm but saying a word. Ivypool stepped away from the crowd and began walking away. Her silver-and-grey tabby coat glistened in the sunlight, causing her to give a small grin. Not paying a single bit of attention to her surroundings, she crashed into Cherryfall. "Sorry." She embarrassingly apologised. "My bad." Ivypool took a step away from Cherryfall, cursing under her breath. ๐ณ๐ถ๐๐ถ๐ฝ โฅ

Cherryfall turned her head to Ivypool, taking a step back. She wasn't a fan of Ivypool. Usually no cat payed attention to the silver and black she-cat, only her sister. "It's fine." She said, trying not to spit. "How are you? I didn't see you pay respects to Molewhisker---to my brother." She spat.

Hollytuft blinked, about to ask about the herbs, and then realized that the medicine cat had already dropped them at her paws. Oh. Mousebrain, I should have realized that. She nodded to Leafpool and picked the leaves up, wincing at the sharp taste of the leaves, and then slowly limping her way out of the medicine den. She hoped the apprentice was able to get his medicine cat apprentice position.
-{ Snowbush }-
The long furred tom shook his head, sighing. "No, I probably wouldn't be able to get all of it off, as tempting as it would be," He replied, taking another bite of the bird. He blinked at the compliment of his humor, then frowned when she said she needed to do something useful. The dryness of meat in his mouth made the awkward silence stand out more, like a thorn in a bunch of soft feathers. "I, uh, guess I'll go get a drink of water then," He replied hastily, grabbing the bird with his mouth and quickly walking off towards the entrance of the camp.
Some fresh air would do him some good, anyways.

Jayfeather was out looking for herbs, using his sense of smell and hearing. But he decided to go back, after Molewhisker died he felt that Alderpaw was a little shocked. When Jayfeather got back he went to the medicine cat den and started checking stuff, like make sure everything was organized.

She yowled. "I'm doing it to protect my Clan!" Cherryfall hissed. "You never liked any cat but yourself. And at everything, Dovewing was better than you." She leaped off of Ivypool. "Ivypool, two wrongs don't make a right."
