"Alderpaw?" Bramblestar meowed firmly, noticing his son peep out from the medicine den, well he's just what i wanted to talk about. He emerged into the Medcine den, and stood beside Alderpaw. "Where's Leafpool," The tom asked, straightining his whiskers.

❈ -- Oh, so he didn't want me. He felt a bit disappointed, but didn't let it show. "I think she's by the camp entrance..." he waited for awhile, then continued. "Dad, I just wanted to ask you... well, I want to become a medicine cat." He suddenly felt weak and stupid. He felt like a coward, as if he didn't enjoy hunting or fighting, like he was scared that he might get his pelt ripped off in battle. Was that the right choice? He knew he could choose his future... but other's might not accept it. If Bramblestar agreed to what he wanted, that was, though.

Many emotions rushed through Bramblestar's head like a mudslide; Affection, dissapointment, worry. He sighed and closed his eyes and meowed firmly yet calmly, "So it is true.." He opened his eyes and looked down at his son with beaming amber eyes.

Bramblestar smiled, even if Alderpaw was his son, he would still have to treat Alderpaw like a normal apprentice. "In the mean time, why don't you see if any of the elders or queens need anything?"
