Whitecloud returned to see Littlepaw awake "Sorry i left you i had to throw out the old tansy" Whitecloud licked her short fur with embarrassment "i asked Dianwhisper to send a patrol to find some juniper,do you want to go collect Alder bark with me our stocks are low" her pink nose and paws were easy to burn so she only went out when the sun was quite low and usually hanged around the shade of the trees.Whietcloud admired Littlepaw for not letting her lack of powers stop her from being with the clan.

--Silvernight straightened as the deputy addressed her, whiskers twitching in acknowledgement as he finished up. She glanced around camp for any available members to come along with her, not finding many others out and about yet. Swishing her tail in annoyance, Silvernight stood and headed for the warrior's den to pick up anyone still sleeping.

Emberstar padded into camp, the multi-colored she-cat had gone on an early morning walk. As usual she had been up hours before the rest of the clan, planning out the day. Her paw steps were light as she noticed her clan had started to wake up and begin their day. In he mouth was two mice, she figured since she had been out so early and for so long that hunting would at least make up for her absence a little bit. She had been gone far long that she had intended to. Her Amber gaze scanned the camp from the fresh-kill pile where she dropped off the mice. Everything seemed to moving a long, there were herbs that were being taken care of. She had scented one of her Warriors Whe she was out so at least someone was hunting. With a flick of her tail she wonders if Dainwhisper had started setting up patrols. This was the only way she got the tom to talk to others was by making him set them up himself. He was a great warrior, he just had to move on. Then one day he would make a great leader.

Snakepaw stretched waiting to find out which group he would be in,he had hoped to be in one with one of the other apprentices but it seemed that was unlikely.he had forgotten what Juniper even did Rat bites maybe no something else.. he pondered he was sure his memory for herbs was not sharp enough to be like Littlepaw and Whitecloud.

Whitecloud wandered out of the den "If you find any Tansy take it and stay away from,Deathberries!" she added she didn't want to have to make everyone vomit deathberries or die from poison,that is why she taught basic medicine to the warriors encase she wasn't there.

Heather paw flashed Snakepaw a jealous look, wanting to be useful herself. The she cat shifted on her paws, not wanting to ask anyone what she could do, she was 11 moons after all, practically a warrior. I wish I could go with him... She thought wistfully.

"Sure, I'd love to!" The long furred she cat purred, jumping onto all four paws excitedly, happy to be of help. The apprentice just hoped she wouldn't burn the herbs on accident, last time she was sent to collect herbs she had been startled by one of her clanmates and set the delicate herbs on fire. The medicine cats where not happy when they found out she did that, and the apprentice was reluctant to make that mistake again.

She nodded at the tom, picking the juniper carefully with her teeth, setting the herbs down a safe distance away from her paws. She did not want a repeat of what happened last time. Why can't I have better control over my abilities, like Snakepaw? She wondered, restraining a sigh. She stretched her paw out, almost touching the juniper before retracting it and scooping it up in her jaws, deciding that the thin branches with the berries would be safer there.

Heather paw hesitated, setting the herbs down gently. "But they only wanted Juniper and Tansy, right?" She asked, worried about doing something complicated like extracting honey. That required delicacy and grace, two categories that the she cat was horribly lacking in. She'd probably end up getting the honey all over her paws.

"Okay, but your extracting it." She responded, not wanting to get the substance on her paws. Oddly enough, she hated the taste of honey and the feel of it, it always made her thirsty when she ate some. She stood back, waiting for the elder apprentice to grow some of her namesake. She always liked the smell of Heather, and wondered if her parents had hoped she would have earth related powers instead of fire.

Heather paw let out a purr of amusement, pausing to smell the sweet flower before following the tom, surprised that he was being nice. She had known that Snakepaw could be rather snappish at times, and was glad he wasn't annoyed with the reluctant she cat.

"I sure hope so," She mumbled through the herbs, hoping she'd get a chance to practice with her abilities. She could always use some extra practice with fire, especially since there weren't many of her clanmates with her ability. She glanced around, a little shy with talking to Snakepaw as they paused and set down the herbs. "Who should we ask?"
