Stormfire widened his eyes, he sighed then closed his eyes. "Thats yoru decision not mine, but i will always serve my clan, whatever your choice is." The tom knew that being deputy was a dream for him, but neither did the warrior want to feel greedy in any form.

Birchheart padded out of the warrior's den. The pale cream warrior glanced around the camp, trying to see if his apprentice was around yet. He had been thinking of taking him hunting today.

Birchheart glanced around some more and saw his apprentice. "Hey, Twistedpaw!" He said happily as he padded over. "Are you up to go hunting?" He asked his apprentice.

She greeted her mentor with a dip of her head, still showing him respect despite how close the two where in age. "Yes." She mewed simply, waiting for the young warrior to lead the way. He was one of the few cats she made an effort to not be sarcastic to, she had always been close to him as a mentor, up until her sisters death,and, although she was short and snappish now, she used to be different, and she didn't want her mentor to be hurt by her change in attitude. That much, at least.
