Stormfrost caught another mouse and a small vole before returning to where she had leff Mosspelt with the prey she had caughten.

"Nice catches" Mosspelt said, before glancing in the direction of the scent. "I'm going to look at something real quick" he meowed, before padding towards the mud like thing.

Mosspelt shrugged as he looked at the mud. "I don't know... the mud just smells weird. This spot in particular" He meowed as he approached the mud. He widened his eyes as he saw a huge mouth open wide, showing several teeth, as it tried snapping its huge jaws. He turn around in time to avoid any serious damage, but didn't get far enough. He winced as he felt teeth sinking into his tail, pulling him into the water.

Mosspelt desperately dug his claws into the dirt. It slowed the process of being dragged into the water down, and with Stormfrost doing her best to keep him out of the water, it was just enough to match the alligator for a moment. However, after a few seconds, the alligator tugged harder on the tail. The sharp teeth pierced through his tail, ripping off half of it. In pain, Mosspelt scrambled out of the water, running until he was sure he was completely on dry land. He looked back at Stormfrost "Thanks" he meowed
